Bahrain, known as the Pearl Island, or the country of millions of palm trees, is located in the heart of the Middle East, being its smallest unit. Sadly, there aren’t many palm trees left on the island but locals say that some 60-70 years ago their land was vividly green. At least before oil was found.
Getting There - Bahrain can be reached by a number of major world airlines, such as Turkish Airlines, Emirates, including the domestic carrier Gulf Air. Optionally, you can reach Bahrain by car crossing the bridge connecting this small island to its large neighbour, Saudi Arabia.
Attractions - Bahrain National Museum, World Trade Centre, Bahrain International Circuit, Amwaj Beach.
Hotels - the Novotel Bahrain is a good choice as it has its private beach.
Food & Restaurants - you’ll find plenty of restaurants in Manama and other areas of the island, serving the local cuisine. In case you prefer something more European or Asian in terms of food, it won’t be a problem either.
Shopping - Bahrainis are fond of shopping centres, it’s one of their favourite time-killers, which is why you’ll see them here and there. Once you are fed up with them, you can go exploring the local markets where you will find the atmosphere of the Middle East. But it’s better to practise you bargaining skills before going there 😃
outstanding Trip
Jibran Dawood Khan Deshmukh Best of Bahrain
First time in Bahrain and was pleasantly surprised. Stayed at the beautiful Charthouse Residence. The hotel was in the harbour area which is being developed but was very close to all attractions. Hotel room was a beautifully designed studio overlooking the water with several restaurants / coffee shops on the walkway with more to come. Staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome - pool area was well designed and looked good during the day and at night.
Some nice things to do include a visit to the souk , Bahrain Fort and a boat trip round Bahrain Bay . Only had a couple of nights but would come back to explore more of what Bahrain has to offer
Manama’s modern capital
Manama, the present-day capital of the Gulf island nation Bahrain, has played a central role in important trade routes since ancient times. The well-regarded Bahrain National Museum showcases relics from the ancient Dilmun civilization, which prospered in the region for many centuries. The lively Bab el-Bahrain Souq, situated in the city center, presents a diverse array of goods, including vivid handwoven textiles, spices, and pearls.

An amazing and superb country called BAHRAIN. Very small but super place to visit and enjoy. good place for 3 days tour with family. People are very helping and soft nature. Lot of places to visit and see like Bahrain National Museum, Bahrain Fort, Tree of life, Royal Camel farm, Bab el-Bahrain Souk, Malls, First oil well, F1 circuit, etc. before visiting just look at the weather, bcz if you visit during summer then roaming will be a big headache. Private car is advisable for visiting different places. You can also have a good night life with various night clubs and pubs for entertainment. Must go once for a different experience.
