#timetotravel Indeed, this is Bohol's top tourist spot. What a beautiful sight to behold. Photos don't realldy do these hills justice. You have to see them for yourself. This is an absolute must visit destination in Bohol. There are 1776 chocolate hills here and the reason why they are called chocolate hills is because of their shape is like a Hershey's chocolate kisses. They turn brown in dry season too. When you get there you have to climb the 222 steps to reach the viewing deck and see the panoramic beauty of the chocolate hills. It takes around 2 hour drive from our resort in Panglao. These adorable, tiny creatures are native to the Philippines, and getting to see them up close in their natural habitat was a truly magical experience. The conservation area is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and conducive environment for the tarsiers, allowing visitors like me to observe them without causing any disturbance. It was incredible to witness their big, expressive eyes and witness their nimble movements as they leaped from tree to tree. ✅The knowledgeable guides provided insightful information about the tarsiers and their conservation efforts, which made the experience even more meaningful. 🌟Aside from the attractions, Bohol itself is a stunning island that offers so much more. Well, not everyone is familiar with tiny Bohol village of Dimiao. My dad is from this town, which is why I chose to highlight it. Hehe. Dimiao is very valuable. Many tourists may not be aware of the breathtaking sights that Dimiao hides. My father never wanted to miss a single fiesta in his town when I was a child. As we used to say, kay (mo renew sa BORIT).

#2023travelwish We spent our first Panglao experience in Bluewater Panglao Resort. This resort is so relaxing. The landscape is good. Pools are wide enough and its beach so inviting. Staff were accomodating and friendly. The buffet breakfast was great with a lot of food selection. Our overall staycation experience was awesome. Tiny Tarsiers!

With its tail longer than its body, it has large brown eyes, hairless ears and long finger-like claws. It has gray fur and a nearly naked tail that is more often than not about 232 mm in length. The tails arc over their back when they hop on the ground apparently to balance themselves. The underside of the tail has dermal ridges such as those found on human hands and feet. Tarsiers have large mesmerizing eyes whose bony eye sockets are larger than that of its brain case as well as of its stomach. The eye sockets have post-orbital closure which keeps the eyeballs from being pressed against by the powerful temporal muscles to their sides. Second encounter with these endangered species. It’s true, they are mesmerizing and it’s really sad to know that only a few made it after typhoon Odette struck this beautiful island of Bohol. Good food, comfort, absolute privacy, you’ll all get that here. Rooms are well-maintained and mind you, this hotel and resort has earned a green seal for their eco-friendly principles and energy conservation efforts. They also offer alfresco dinning which is very relevant especially now that we have to live with the Covid-19 virus and they never ran out of good food choices. You can also dine by the garden whenever you feel the vibe. If you are into a romantic setting, they also have a floating lounge, which I want to try the next time we get go visit this place. Surely, you’ll fall in love with everything here.

This place is very nice. Very quite and peaceful. Very bali feels. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They even give us free drinks. I will recommend this place. Will be back soon.
