#oktoberfest #100WaysOfTravel
You can buy beer coupons and join in the fun to taste all the beers at Bana Hills Beer Plaza. It is Oktoberfest every day here because of its uniqueness in this European village. It is a theme park in Da Nang up in the mountains and you can only come here by cable car. They have different seasonal activities here and it is a permanent restaurant serving food and beer here at Bana Hills. During Oktoberfest, you can see more tables are setup in the outdoor and even concert stages too. It is a exact replication of the festival and many grilled meat and German pork knuckles are being served too. Over here they even have a Kellner mascot dressed up in pig costume. These are the German beer ladies who are capable to carry many beer at one time.

SAVORING BEEF PHO AND VIETNAMESE ROLLS
#traveldiaries #eatlikealocal
If you ever visit Vietnam, don't miss the chance to try the signature beef pho and Vietnamese rolls.
What we like about the beef pho is its rich, aromatic broth of the pho, combined with fresh herbs, basil, bean sprouts and tender beef, offering a comforting and flavorful experience.
Dont forget to drizzle on some chilli oil for extra kick.
Next, the Vietnamese rolls.
They are snacks wrapped in delicate rice paper with fresh, vibrant fillings of vermicelli and shrimp.
They are not fried but often served fresh, paired with a peanut dipping sauce.

Extravagant Spa in Da Nang - Nguon Spa
Located near the city center of Da Nang, this stylish massage parlor is also a popular spot for social media influencers.
A full-body massage costs around 800 TWD, and a hair wash is about 300 TWD. Reservations can be made in advance.
There are branches in both Da Nang city center and Hoi An. The overall atmosphere is very chill, and the decor is clean and sophisticated, different from local massage parlors. The prices are slightly higher than local standards, but the quality is better, and the service is more meticulous.
Before starting, you'll fill out a questionnaire about areas to focus on. After the massage, you'll be treated to some exquisite snacks.
It's also a magical photo spot, satisfying both your photography and massage needs.
Photo tips:
The background is mostly composed of wood tones and industrial gray. Bright or black outfits are good choices. Dresses are great for women, and casual styles work well for men.
Ba Na Hills, French Village
If you visit Vietnam, you can't miss the chance to take photos at Ba Na Hills. We stayed here for one night and got tons of amazing pictures.
There are many photo spots here, including castles and flowers. Everything is decorated to make you feel like you're in Europe. Whether it's day or night, every corner is beautiful.
During the day, there are more tourists, so we chose to take photos in the morning and evening when tourists from below haven't arrived yet.
If you get the chance, don't forget to capture some memories here because every corner is truly beautiful. 🥰
Exploring the colourful cafe scene in Danang
Start your day with a coffee or two, maybe even more - the cafe scene in Danang is bursting with unique concepts and gorgeous interiors. As a bonus, many of them boast photogenic spots too. Here are some of the prettiest cafes in Danang.
1) Login Coffee
This expansive ground has a desert-inspired outdoor patio, sprinkled with greenery. After exploring the outside, head in and grab a coffee. Or try the special macchiato topped with a jiggly flan. This cafe also has power outlets and strong wifi, making it perfect for digital nomads.
2-3) S’Story Coffee
You’ll first spot this two-storey cafe by its striking red facade. Step inside and take in the quaint vibes; look out for a Victorian-style fountain on the first floor, while the second floor is both homely and inviting. Mismatched couches and shrubbery makes it a warm, lived-in space to chill and sip on a refreshing avocado coffee.
4-5) Tan Coffee
If minimalist exterior is your thing, then head to Tan Coffee. Located within a refurbished factory space, the spacious space comes with a chic aesthetic on the outside - lounge on wooden decks under lush plants. And if coffee is not your thing, this place also has a selection of tea-based concoctions that equal parts refreshing and fruity.
6-7) Cua Ngo Cafe
Don’t be fooled by the plain sand-coloured entrance, the cafe boasts a portal to Morocco in its backyard. The Mediterranean-inspired fixtures make for a stunning backdrop for pictures and videos.
8-9) Reply 1988
This cafe constantly tops the list of must-visit cafes in Danang - and for good reason. This spacious place is work-friendly, and has a massive window that lets in plenty of natural light. There are various seating options, each providing a different vibe. And if you’re looking for some non-caffeinated drinks, Reply 1988 has a delicious blend of kumquat, sugarcane, and lemongrass that will surely quench your thirst after a busy day of cafe-hopping.

Live above the clouds for a day
#myitinerary This was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam! Booking a tour was as easy as asking the front desk at my hotel. The bus was on time to collect us the next morning. We stopped along the way at a silk manufacturing farm where they showed us the entire process of making silk fabric.
Arrival at Ba Na park, we took a cable car up the mountain. We went through the clouds and everything we saw had a slight haze from the cloud surface below.
The park has a lot of entertainment and restaurants. A full fun day for all! This is a bucket list location when traveling to Vietnam!

This time i want to share about a beautiful temple that located in Ba Na Hills; Linh Chua Linh Tu. To visit this temple, you need to take a cable car first.
The pagoda was built in 1999, nearly 1,400 m high above sea level. This temple belongs to Ba Na tourist area, by Venerable Thich Thien Nguyen.

Enjoy an Affordable Stay at Danang's Marriott Resort with Points
Stay affordably with Marriott points at the eye-catching Asian resort of Danang.
Danang, an Asian resort not so familiar to Japanese people, is very popular among Koreans, and you can get there cheaply from Japan via Incheon using LCCs.
The hotel I stayed at this time was the "Marriott Resort Danang"
It was renovated in 2023, so it's very clean.
I booked the cheapest room, but I was assigned to an ocean view room, one rank higher.
There was also a balcony, and I enjoyed drinking wine while looking at the sea from there.
There's also a pool, so if you want to relax at a resort, choosing a resort hotel around here might be a good idea.
However, I think you'll need to take a taxi every time you go into town. But it's quite cheap if you use GRAB.
📍Marriott Resort Danang
Deluxe Ocean View
About 20,000 to 30,000 yen per night
*This time I also used Marriott points
So it was about 50,000 yen for 4 nights

Vietnam - The Danang steakhouse that the whole family loved!!
During our trip to Vietnam, we were told that we must visit a steakhouse, so we went to Olivia Prime Steakhouse!!! At the time of my visit, it was an undiscovered gem with not a single Korean in sight, but now it's become quite well-known!!! (I wish it remained my little secret, but I'm glad it's popular so it doesn't close down!!!)
🥩Australian ribeye & tenderloin steak, mushrooms, red wine sauce
🍝Salmon pasta, mashed potatoes
🍻Vietnamese beer, mango juice
When ordering steak, you must get the mushroom sauce ㅠㅠ
It's so delicious that I had to order the sauce again....ㅋㅋㅋ
I don't recommend the red wine sauce;; definitely order the mashed potatoes
And don't forget the asparagus, broccoli, and grilled vegetables - without ordering garnishes, the steak comes out all by itself ㅎㅎ
They used to sell salmon pasta, but it seems to be discontinued now - it wasn't on the menu. The salmon pasta was so delicious ㅜㅠ
In Vietnam, the portions at restaurants are small, so you have to order a lot to feel satisfied, but two guys still felt the portions were too small ㅠㅠ
(But it was nice to be able to try a variety of dishes because of that ㅋㅋㅋ)
That day, we still felt hungry after eating pizza, so we immediately went to the steakhouse ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
The prices are not cheap compared to the cost of living in Vietnam, but I recommend this restaurant because both the atmosphere and the taste were worth the money!
It was our first family trip to Vietnam, and I wanted to create memorable experiences for my family, so we visited and were completely satisfied. I would like to visit again on our next trip to Danang :)
Lastly, the chocolate-flavored vodka??? It was like a rich chocolate-flavored liquor similar to Kahlua milk and it was so delicious!

They picked us up from our accommodation, and after the massage and shopping at Han Market, we returned to the shop for a perfect drop-off service. Free luggage storage is also available. 💚 The massage skills were the best among the spas in Da Nang that we experienced. This place has both excellent skills and facilities, truly the best.

🌟 Da Nang's Dreamy Bana Hills Hideaway 🏰✨
Nestled atop Vietnam's scenic Bana Hills, Mercure Danang French Village is a slice of European charm with a dash of Vietnamese flair. 🌄🇻🇳 Early birds catch the Golden Bridge in all its glory, sans the crowds, thanks to exclusive cable car access from 7 AM for guests. 🌉💫
The village vibe is strong with multiple hotel buildings named after French cities, and I cozied up in Hotel De Marseille—right at the heart of it all! 🏤 The rooms may not be massive, but they're snug, complete with all mod-cons, and who needs AC when you've got that crisp highland air? 🛌🌬️
Dive into a pool of warm water even when the mist rolls in, or start your day with a breakfast buffet that's a feast for the senses—Vietnamese and Western delights to fuel your explorations. 🍳🥖 And when the theme park lights go out, the serenity of this hilltop retreat is unmatched. 🎠🌙

This beautiful hotel is worth staying for a night, so you won't be too rushed when visiting Bana Hills
🔸It's like living in a European castle or an upgraded version of Moganshan's Naked Heart Castle. Open the window and you'll see the spire church and the central square. The most beautiful moment of Bana Hills is actually after four or five o'clock when the tourists go down the mountain.
Lying on the windowsill of the room's attic, you feel like a princess on the run waiting for a prince to rescue.

🔸In the morning and evening, you can take photos of the Hand of God Bridge when tourists go down the mountain
🍽️Dining
🔸There are many packages online that include lunch buffet and tickets. In fact, there are many restaurant choices on the mountain, with Chinese, Korean, and Western cuisines, so you don't need to waste time on an expensive buffet at noon.
🔸If you stay at the Mercure Hotel, you can have brunch in the buffet restaurant in the morning and solve lunch as well.
🔸For dinner, you can go to the beer square, where there is music, beer, and barbecue, and the atmosphere is great.

🔸If you don't stay on the mountain, tickets are divided into day and night sessions, and entering after 3 pm for the night session will be cheaper
🚠Transportation
