Haghpat Monastery: A blend of Byzantine and local architectural styles, the monastery has its own unique artistic style and represents the pinnacle of Armenian religious architecture. Zvartnots Archaeological Site: Located near Echmiadzin, it was built in 641-661 AD. The original building was a round three-story dome with a four-leaf clover-shaped church inside, decorated with false arches, carvings, and reliefs. The interior is decorated with mosaics and murals. Echmiadzin Cathedral: The first church in Armenia, the cathedral houses a museum. Walking in the cathedral is like reading a history book of Christianity.
