#bangkoktrip#historical My next stop in Bangkok after visited Wat Pho is Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, or better known as Wat Arun, an iconic historical landmarks in Bangkok. The sheer details and magnitude of this temple are the main attraction. We took a Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tien Pier (N8) from Wat Pho. After that, taken a cross-river ferry for only THB 4 to Wat Arun. The Wat Arun is quite a massive temple, it has the design features and structure of a Khmer-style pagoda. The central Prang is beautifully adorned with colorful porcelain and seashells, the intricate porcelain decorations are mesmerizing, I could've spent an hour admiring at the details. ⏩The Wat Arun is open everyday from 8am - 6pm. Admission fee: THB 200. ⏩Highly recommend taking a boat ride to Wat Arun for a unique perspective of the temple.
