Strolling through history / Feeling the vicissitudes

Pushing open this gate, one traverses six hundred years across two dynasties and three reigns. Walking on the pebble path, one intimately feels the aura of ancient dynasties. It's as if one can see the court officials attending the morning court, and the palace maids and eunuchs each performing their duties. The Imperial Garden, where the beauties of the harem once frolicked together, witnessed both overt and covert skirmishes. Gazing at these green tiles and red walls, one wonders how many young women's youth were locked away. The Forbidden City is the best copywriting, no amount of words can compare to seeing it with one's own eyes. One is intoxicated by the exquisite and enduring beauty of the ancient architecture, deeply attracted and moved. I approach eternity in another way. In my dream of the Purple Forbidden Enclosure, even after the splendor has faded, it remains majestic and noble. What opens is the Forbidden City; what remains locked is the Purple Forbidden Enclosure. Through a hundred years of vicissitudes, only the sun and the moon are eternal!
