Adaxi, I visited Hemu this year

Coming from Kanas to Hemu Village, the endless snowy scenery of the northern landscape unfolds before your eyes. This remote little village 🏡 located in Altay, northern Xinjiang, is the northwesternmost village in China. It sits in the middle section of the Altai Mountains and boasts the beautiful scenery of snowy countryside and wilderness. The most photogenic spot is the Harden Viewing Platform (Hemu Viewing Platform), where you can overlook the entire Hemu Village. Sunrise 🌅 dawn and sunset 🌄 dusk are both incredibly picturesque! Most of the photos above were taken at the viewing platform. The pure tranquility of winter ❄️ and the vast solemnity of snowy days are truly captivating. From Hemu Bridge, you can walk about 20 minutes through the birch forest or ride a horse up the mountain. You can check the sunrise time and weather in advance; in winter, it’s usually between 9 and 10 AM. Attention‼️ Bring windproof masks 😷, gloves 🧤, hats, and scarves 🧣. The wind on the mountain is strong and cold; you can’t hold your hands out for more than a minute. Also, remember to bring spare batteries 🔋 and power banks for your camera 📷 and phone 📱. Tips: To get a pure, pristine winter look and remove color noise, reduce the blue tones to achieve a silver-white snowy effect!
