The backyard garden for Guangdong people~ Visited 4 attractions in two days over the weekend, feeling both body and mind fully relaxed Itinerary 🚅 Private car for the whole trip: Four people, about 500 yuan for two days Saturday: Take the high-speed train from Shenzhen North to Chenzhou West Play at Yangtian Lake Grassland (enter before 3 PM) Dinner with countryside flavors (recommended by the driver) Stay at a homestay near Yuhou Street (eat and stroll, eat and stroll) Sunday: Breakfast: Pig-killing noodles, fish noodles, glutinous rice balls, fermented rice eggs, steamed dumplings Watch fishermen casting nets at Dongjiang Lake (3 times every 15 minutes) Bailang (stunning scenery, 3 check-in spots require a private car) Lunch: Chaimi Yuxiang (fish-flavored dishes) Gaoyiling (enter from the south gate, exit from the south gate) Take the high-speed train from Chenzhou West to Shenzhen North Travel Tips • The food is neither particularly bad nor exceptionally amazing, almost no risk of disappointment • Chenzhou has many Tea Yan Yue Se shops; we drank there for two consecutive days • The most recommended attractions are Bailang and Gaoyiling. Bailang’s golden leaves shine in large patches, paired with the shimmering water, breathtakingly beautiful Gaoyiling looks like a scene from a geography book, very stunning! It’s recommended to enter and exit from the south gate to cover most of the big and small loops, about 2 hours in total. It’s not hard to climb but very steep; those afraid of heights may climb slower. Along the way, there are many entertainment facilities like rappelling, aerial bicycles, forest knights, via ferrata, etc. You can pay to experience them if interested. • We traveled in November; there were not many tourists, but the grass at Yangtian Lake Grassland was mostly withered. However, the entertainment facilities are quite comprehensive, such as feeding small animals, grass sliding, riding a small train, etc. • The climate in Chenzhou in November is quite comfortable, but there is a large temperature difference between day and night—over 20°C during the day and below 10°C at night • The overall itinerary and time planning are quite tight; for weekend trips, private car rental is recommended for convenience
