Sunflower fields in Clamecy 🇫🇷

#francetrip Just got back from a magical trip to the sunflower fields near Clamecy, France, and it was like stepping into a painting! 🌻🌞 We drove through the Burgundy countryside, and suddenly, fields of bright yellow sunflowers stretched out before us, as far as the eye could see. The best part? It’s completely free to wander through these beautiful fields and take in the scenery. The sight of all those sunflowers turning their heads towards the sun was absolutely breathtaking and made for some incredible photos! 📸 We spent the afternoon exploring the charming town of Clamecy, which has so much to offer. The narrow cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, and the stunning Collégiale Saint-Martin (free to enter!) made us feel like we had stepped back in time. 🏰 We had lunch at a little café by the Nivernais Canal, enjoying local Burgundy cuisine, including coq au vin and a glass of Chablis. 🍷 The combination of delicious food and beautiful surroundings was perfect. After lunch, we took a leisurely walk along the canal and admired the boats passing by. We even rented bikes to explore the countryside trails, which gave us another chance to enjoy the sunflower fields from different angles. 🚴♂️ If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and history, Clamecy and its sunflower fields are a must-visit.
