Autumn-exclusive Mogan Mountain is truly worth it! Just got back and can't wait to share this one-day tour guide. 🚌 Itinerary • Joined a hiking one-day tour group, super hassle-free, entered from Jianchi, tickets included (80 RMB). • The whole route is about 11km, with an elevation gain of 576m, a gentle "up and down" slope route. Walking, stopping, and taking photos, we reserved 6 hours, which is totally doable and very friendly for beginners. 📸 Maple Leaf Photography Guide 1️⃣ Summit section: After climbing to the summit, there are all kinds of red maples along the way. When the sunlight shines through, the light and shadow are stunning. Be sure to bring your camera! 2️⃣ Villa area: Many maple trees in the major villa areas are in full bloom. Recommended to take the path to Villa No. 48. Our group tour didn’t include it, but it’s actually only about 300 meters from the main road, just a few minutes’ walk. This was my only regret on this trip. 3️⃣ Corner of the downhill trail: Dense maple leaves, every shot is a good one. It’s recommended to check the red maple photo spots guide in advance and mark a few favorite locations. 💡 Useful Tips • Although joining a group is convenient, some spots are inaccessible. You can reserve half an hour to explore nearby areas on your own, such as Villa No. 48, which is just a few steps away. • There’s plenty of time, no need to rush downhill. We returned at 4 PM, but I came down at 3 PM and waited an hour in a café. It’s better to take more photos or explore nearby. • For those who want to travel independently, you can find free ticket routes on the "Two Steps Road" app. This Mogan Mountain hiking experience was amazing. My only regret was not walking a few more steps to see Villa No. 48. I suggest everyone plan ahead and leave some free time to avoid regrets!
