Japanese Accommodation The Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU hotel is such a great place to stay. Facilities The hotel is very new, which is rare among the many inns in Hakone with a history of a hundred years, so the facilities are all very good. The rooms are large, with tatami mats, and a standard deluxe room can sleep four people. Hot Springs The hotel's public baths are especially nice, with separate floors for men and women that switch every other day. The fifth floor has a garden waterfall view, and the sixth floor has an infinity view, both of which are amazing. The skincare and bath products provided are all from POLA, which are also reassuring to use. Meals We booked a one-night stay with two meals. Both breakfast and dinner deserve five stars. Especially the dinner, we booked teppanyaki, and at the reservation time, a shuttle bus took us to the restaurant five minutes away. The ingredients were very good, from the appetizers, main dish Matsusaka beef to the dessert, all were delicious, with the taste of high-end cuisine. Even if not for the stay, just for this meal, it would be worth going once.
