Enjoy the nature near Helsinki

if you feel like going to the nature and having a place to relax, you definitely need to go to Sarvikallio outdoor area in Tuusula, Finland. The lake Tuusula is situated only a 30 minute car drive away from Helsinki. it has been nominated the provincial lake of the province surrounding Helsinki called Uusimaa. Sarvikallio outdoor area is situated on the southwest corner of the lake, near the district of Hyrylä in the town of Tuusula. The area also has a parking area for cars and signs from the nearby road, although it could be tricky to find the place without a navigator app. The address is Sarvikalliontie, Tuusula. The parking place is located at the end of the road. There are many paths on which you can walk and enjoy the forest view. Paths vary from very short to medium distance walks but the hills are fairly steep in the area. The paths are well maintained and in excellent condition and also have places to stop for a little rest. The most spectacular place in Sarvikallio is the barbecuing area with a breathtaking lake view. There are a few grills and wood provided by the town which are also in a very good condition. You can cook your food and enjoy the view but be careful not to fall down to the lake! There are NO protective fences so the barbecue are is also left in its natural condition without too much building. Anyway, the lake can be accessed using wooden stairs which were built in 2019. For those who love the lake view and also enjoy the nature, I recommend you to pack a little food and go enjoying the Sarvikallio outdoor area!
