Rain or Shine: Adventures at Monster Building in Hong Kong

During our Hong Kong trip, we explored the iconic Monster Building/Mansion, known for being a filming location for Transformers, which made it a popular attraction for tourists. Just a brief 10-minute walk from Quarry Bay MTR station, its accessibility makes it a must-visit spot. Despite the evening rain, we were undeterred in capturing memorable photos for social media. While locals cast curious glances our way, I reassured my partner that their opinions didn’t matter in a place where we were unknown. We embraced the unique experience and created lasting memories. Surprisingly, we found ourselves as the only tourists braving the rain for photos until another group arrived to join us in capturing the picturesque spot. I’m so glad we insisted on visiting this place despite the rain. Otherwise, we might have missed the opportunity to explore it by using the weather as an excuse.
