Temecula Valley Wine Country & Ponte Winery

#timetotravel From 1–3 September, I managed to drive all the way from San Francisco Bay Area to Temecula Valley in the southwest part of Riverside County of Southern California! The reason? It’s to visit this LOVELY CLASSIC WINERY—Ponte Winery! Firstly, you can see all these marvelous photos of the grapes 🍇 on the vines! Brewers and hotel staff are growing them then harvest them in the late autumn to make wine. My first impression was a huge WOW because I’ve only seen grapes growing on vines mostly along racks of houses or huts 🛖 but never seen them on small trees with vines and leaves like that. Secondly, the views of the mountains in the distance is also spectacular. You’re basically in the middle of a wine country because this area is full of wineries along the road(Rancho California). And finally, for a small amount of 33$USD, you can go to the tasting room to try your 6 samples of wine: They have sparkling wine, sweet fruit wine, red wine & white wine. Personally, I prefer the white wine and sparkling wine because they are not as strong as the red wine in terms of alcohol concentration level. The white wine you see in the photo is the peach & grape flavored wine called Chardonnay! Very classic!
