Lombok’s Secret Spring Retreats

While Bali steals the spotlight, Lombok in spring offers tranquility and raw beauty. We stayed near Selong Belanak, where rice paddies glistened in the sun and kids played in the fields. The surf was gentle, the locals welcoming, and the waterfalls inland flowed full and vibrant from the rains. Hikes through Tetebatu brought us to jungle canopies echoing with birdcalls.
