The lake shimmered calmly, and the snow-capped mountains behind it silently embraced the city. The wooden structures and murals seen as I walked across the Chapel Bridge, suggesting a sense of the tranquility Lucerne has preserved, and the walk along the River Rieuse, with the light and waves slowly shifting, was a healing experience in itself. Entering the old town, small shops and warm cafes lined the streets, making even a brief stay feel like a journey. The view of Lucerne, seen from the lakeside, was simply a quiet and relaxing scene that lingered in my memory. Lucerne was a city that left a profound sense of peace rather than a strong impression.
