Summer Parent-Child Trip｜Macau International Children's Art Festival is Fun and Educational

If you want to give your child an artistic experience this summer, come here! I accidentally discovered that Macau is hosting its first International Children's Art Festival, so I immediately brought Henry here! Henry had a blast all day, not only learning a lot but also making new friends. On the way home, he said he wants to come back for such events next time. The 'Pompidou Art Fantasy World' is divided into two exhibitions. The main exhibition is located at the Macau Museum of Art, and the other sub-exhibition is located at the former site of the Ma Kok Slaughterhouse. ◾The main exhibition exudes a strong artistic atmosphere as soon as you enter. Unlike other exhibitions where you can only look, this one allows children to create hands-on! The 90-minute art experience really stimulates children's interest in art! There are three main themed areas: Fantastic Shapes and Colors, Magical Time Travel, and Magic Lantern. The children on-site are all happily creating imaginative stories. 📍Macau Museum of Art ◾️Sub-exhibition: Dance Wonderland As soon as you enter, you are attracted by the colorful scenery, all of which are soft and safe installations. With the help of on-site dance tutorials, children can dance to their heart's content here. They can also create new moves with various interesting wearable devices! Playing with the children is super fun, and the experience is great. 📍Former site of the Ma Kok Slaughterhouse 🪩In the evening, Henry and I went to see the musical 'Annie'. The young lead, Annie, has an amazing singing voice, with high notes and runs, and the group dances are impressive. The children who can perform commercially are indeed talented! Additionally, the little 'actor' (dog) playing Sandy is a real dog brought all the way from the United States, which is incredible. Watching this show in Macau feels a bit like watching it on Broadway, it's family-friendly, humorous, and inspiring! There is also a stamp collection activity on-site. Collecting three stamps can be exchanged for a small gift! Besides the wonderful performances and exhibitions, there are also beautiful souvenirs and delicious food. The whole of Macau is filled with an artistic atmosphere. This interesting art exhibition runs until October 27th, so don't miss it if you like it!
