Macau Ruins of St. Paul's Photo Spots: How to Take Photos with Fewer People

By the end of 2024, it will be the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to China. Head south! The first stop is naturally the iconic building of Macau— The Ruins of St. Paul's. [History] Construction began in 1602 and was completed in 1637; Destroyed by fire in 1835; [Name Origin] "Sanba" is the transliteration of the Portuguese "São Paulo" (St. Paul), and the locals named it after the church's front wall, which resembles a traditional Chinese archway. [Architectural Features] It adopts the Italian Baroque style, and the carvings have oriental characteristics; 23 meters, 25.5 meters high, with 68 stone steps in front of the archway, and the three to five layers gradually form a triangular pediment with a base width of 8.5 meters. [World Heritage] The Ruins of St. Paul's combines the essence of Eastern and Western architectural art. It is a work of art that blends Chinese and Western cultures and is also known as the "three-dimensional Bible." In 2005, the Ruins of St. Paul's and 21 other buildings and cultural relics in the "Historic Center of Macau" were included in the "World Heritage List." As a "gathering place of gods," there is also a rare "Nezha Temple" next to the archway. When I went there, it was just before the 25th anniversary and Christmas, and there were many tourists in the Ruins of St. Paul's area. So I found some special photo spots for your reference.
