Heesan Kopi Blends Tradition With Modernity

After our filling Peranakan meal, we went to get our coffee fix at Heesan Kopi. The vibrant murals and vintage decorations greeted us when we set our foot in. The mix of rattan and wood furniture, the early print ads framed as paintings, the hanging pendant lamps and wall art add nostalgia to the place. Heesan Kopi opens up a world of memories and sentimentality for the past. I ordered the star of the menu (as usual!) - picollo latte in vintage enamel mug. There's even a 囍 word printed on the mug, aligning with its brand very well! The coffee smells and tastes wonderful but it is a tad too small (see the photo of me holding the mug). It only comes in one size when you ordered it in the enamel mug. If you are a heavy coffee drinker, I suggest you cut the frills and just get a black or white in the usual cup. Or order two! The cafe has an extensive menu of dishes - from western brunch to local cuisine. It also has snacks, desserts and other non-caffeneited drinks. It is a great spot for foodies who want to have the best of both worlds and coffee lovers who want to get their daily fix!
