Walk Along the Malacca River

Malacca City is located in West Malaysia. It is a famous tourist destination due to its colonial past, museums, forts and the preserved old town. I took a walk along the Malacca River and I absolutely loved it! Malacca River is quite long so I recommend to start your walk from the Jonker Street. It is a car free area so you can freely walk and enjoy the view. There are a lot of restaurants 🍲 with outside seating available that serve local food as well as international dishes. Malaysian food is spicy so make sure to clarify the level of spiciness you want for your dish. There are river cruises available, it costs 30RM per person and you can enjoy the architecture surrounding the river while sitting down on the boat and enjoying the cool breeze. Stick around for a while and catch the sunset along the river to see the sky change colors.
