Huangdao📍Mangrove Forest is sparsely populated and scenic||| Huangdao Mangrove Forest Resort Hotel has mixed reviews online. Our actual experience of staying for two nights with Xiaoya and grandparents during the May Day holiday is: there are both pros and cons, but overall I am satisfied❤️ ㊙️㊙️㊙️Is the hotel🏨 worth staying at⁉️ Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded during May Day! The price was also acceptable! The balcony faces the sea! You can even go sea foraging! I think it's very worth staying at🌟 Firstly, the hotel opened and was renovated in 2016, which sounds a bit old, but it actually looks okay. The rooms are quite large, over 50 square meters, but the TV📺 is very small and there are no smart devices. The pillows are a bit uncomfortable, but you can ☎️ call the front desk for a cervical pillow (we called twice and they didn't deliver, probably too busy during May Day). Overall, the service was average, didn't feel much service during the two-night stay! However, the hotel's environment and location are very good, especially the large balcony with a sea view is amazing, and the weather has been sunny these days, the scenery is absolutely stunning☀️ Nearby there are cinemas, hot springs, and all-inclusive entertainment for eating, drinking, and playing. The children's playground is over 3000 square meters and costs 138 yuan for one adult and one child, with anti-slip socks at 10 yuan a pair (we didn't have time to play, we were at the beach🏖️). There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools (no water outside and we didn't go inside), and the square scenery is also nice, with a market👏🏻, bars, coffee, Japanese and Thai restaurants🍴. The B1 level of the hotel is a lively food court. The room's bathtub comes with a disposable bath bag🛀. All the rooms with balconies at the Coral Hotel have a sea view, and the scenery is absolutely stunning, so choose Coral🪸 🌟Sea foraging location⬇️🌊 ㊙️Walk south along the beach in front of the Mangrove Coral Hotel for about 5-10 minutes, and you'll see a large bridge. Under the bridge, there are a few fishing boats⛵️, that's the spot for sea foraging. You can find lots of starfish👏🏻, small shrimps, small fish, and small crabs🦀, achieving a full bucket of sea treasures🪣 🌟Food and entertainment⬇️🍜 ㊙️Still on the B1 level of the hotel, walk south along the beach to 'City Balcony', which has food and fun and is quite lively. We ate at 'Fuhai Fisherman's New Fish House', the seafood was good and clean❗️ I do not recommend the 'Hidden in Blossoms' Beijing hotpot in the Mangrove Hotel plaza❌, after eating seafood for a few days and wanting some meat😂, the hotpot we chose was not good✋. The snacks on B1 are not cheap, and the taste is average! The spicy hotpot is average, the pineapple rice is a bit greasy, but the grilled squid is not bad👌. I recommend eating at the City Balcony area more, the few restaurants at the Mangrove Hotel seem a bit of a rip-off, don't try them lightly🥲. The hotel breakfast is okay, but the dining environment is a bit noisy🫨 🌟Nearby attractions⬇️📍 ㊙️It's a 40-minute drive from Yumingzui Village, over twenty-five kilometers away, and a 10+ minute drive from City Balcony, three kilometers away. It's a 30-minute drive to Golden Beach and Silver Beach, over twenty kilometers away. The main attraction here is the sparse population! To avoid crowds, choose this place～ ㊙️Lingshan Island was the small island I originally planned to visit, but unfortunately, I didn't make it. Maybe I'll have the chance to go in the future. It's said to be the tallest island in the north, quite primitive but the scenery must be beautiful🤩 The island's homestays look very atmospheric in pictures～
