Qingdao Day Trip | Sea View × Old Town × Cultural Street × Sunset: Complete Guide

I spent four days in Qingdao. The first two days were in Laoshan Mountain, and the third day I returned to Qingdao to explore. Actually, you can see most of the attractions in one day! 😆 🔸【Morning】Strolling along classic landmarks 1️⃣ Zhanqiao Pier: Qingdao's most iconic landmark! Great for taking photos of the seascape and the arched pier, and you can also see seagulls! But it's incredibly crowded during the holiday!!! 2️⃣ St. Michael's Cathedral: Within walking distance. The German-style red-tiled twin towers are super photogenic and the most beautiful photo spot in Qingdao's old town. There are also many vendors in front of the cathedral to browse. 🔸【Midday】Wandering through trendy neighborhoods 3️⃣ Longjiang Road / University Road: Lined with cafes, shops, and European-style buildings, perfect for leisurely strolling and finding a place to have lunch. 🔸【Afternoon】Mountain View + Seaside 4️⃣ Signal Hill Viewpoint: Overlooking the entire old town of Qingdao with its red rooftops, it's the best viewpoint in Qingdao! 5️⃣ Badaguan (including the seawall leading to the sea) The most beautiful seaside promenade, with Western-style buildings, green trees, and the sea. You can enjoy the sea breeze and watch the waves. 🔸【Evening】Watch the sunset 6️⃣ Qinyu Road → Xiaoqingdao Park for sunset A pleasant walk there. The sunset over the sea is very romantic and is one of the highlights of this route. 🔸【Evening】Have dinner 7️⃣ Taidong Night Market Lots of food to choose from. Although it was crowded, I still queued up and bought a lot of delicious food (grilled squid, grilled cold noodles, skewers, etc.).
