Disney Cruise Booking Dates Announced!
According to the official website, the sailing dates and prices will be announced on November 14th, with bookings starting on December 10th, and the official launch on December 15th.
This time, seven themed areas on the new ship have been revealed, with the Marvel-themed deck roller coaster looking particularly exciting! The cruise will be based in Singapore for at least five years, so there's no need to rush to book the 2025 itinerary. After all, if the ship is fully booked, the experience of various facilities might not be as enjoyable.
On a side note, it's a bit ironic that the Disney cruise announcement in Singapore was made by the then Minister of Transport, Khaw Boon Wan, who is now in prison just over a year later.

🇸🇬 A Refreshing Escape: Exploring Bukit Batok Nature Park
#gardencityexploration #100waysoftravel
Visiting Bukit Batok Nature Park is a delightful experience for anyone looking to escape the urban bustle of Singapore and immerse themselves in nature. This tranquil park, located in the heart of Bukit Batok, offers a serene environment with lush greenery, picturesque views, and well-maintained trails that are perfect for both leisurely walks and more vigorous hikes.
As I wandered through the park, the well-paved paths led me through dense foliage and beside tranquil ponds. The park is famously home to a picturesque quarry, now a tranquil pond with a high cliff wall on one side, creating a stunning backdrop that’s particularly captivating at sunrise and sunset. This spot is a favorite among photographers and nature lovers alike for its dramatic natural beauty and reflective waters.
The park’s flora and fauna also make it a great spot for biodiversity enthusiasts. While walking, I noticed a variety of bird species, making it a good location for bird watching. The occasional sighting of monitor lizards and other wildlife adds an exciting element to the trek.
Bukit Batok Nature Park’s combination of natural beauty, historical depth, and accessible trails makes it an ideal destination for families, history buffs, and nature enthusiasts. Whether you’re looking for a vigorous morning workout, a peaceful walk to clear your mind, or a quiet place to connect with nature, Bukit Batok Nature Park offers a refreshing escape right in the city.

Photo Spot in SG
If you're planning to visit this picturesque spot here in SG you have to be early so that you don't end up queuing for about 2-3hrs just to get that viral photo in this tunnel.
We arrived in this spot exactly 6:30am and still a little bit dark but atlease we manage to take our time without even worrying that a lot of other people are staring at us while we are taking pictures.
This spot is located in Singapore ,

Tasty seafood but super expensive
Mellben signature is located at tanjong pagar plaza level 01-105. The seafood there are very fresh but very expensive! One plate of mango prawns cost $50 and only 10 pieces on the plate! Not very nice though but the sauce are fine.
The Best Buy is the sweet and sour pork. It is serve in a bowl of ice cubes and there is longan inside the dish too. Although is expensive and only a few pieces, but is the nicest among the normal dishes I have ordered.
The Crab have to go for chili crab or creamy butter crab. Salted egg crab is not very nice so don’t go for it. 1 Crab cost about $90. So have to plan properly if you are going for a budget meal.
There are a few mellben seafood at different location. Menu and price are different too at different outlets as well. The one I have go is Mellben Signature. Moreover the seafoods are tasty but very expensive.

Award-winning international airport!
Changi Airport is an award-winning flight hub that is famous for its fantastic amenities and beautiful scapes! As you explore the different spaces, you will be amazed at the level of detail in each design.
Some areas feel like you are in nature, and there are benches for you to rest and relax in. Other areas are for dining that are built to resemble a row of shophouses like in the olden days.
Of course there are many shopping outlets where you can buy the perfect souvenir back home. Even the toilets are very spacious and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit!
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Check in at Universal Studios Singapore
Originally, I didn't have much interest in amusement parks. I didn't go to Universal Studios in Osaka twice. Since I went to Universal Studios in Los Angeles before the epidemic, it opened the door to a new world for me. After the epidemic, I wanted to come to Universal Studios in Singapore to check in. Although many comments on the Internet said that Universal Studios in Singapore was too small, It is his childhood talent that he doesn't have to buy a fast ticket. (Thursday) The longest queue time will not exceed an hour, and the whole trip is only three or four hours. The experience is still good, but unfortunately there is no Harry Potter Castle.

💰How much should you budget for a trip to Singapore❓
Singapore is relatively expensive, with a cost of living slightly higher than Beijing. However, many attractions in Singapore are free to visit. The main expenses are accommodation and transportation, so budget around SGD 500 for a 5-day trip.
⚠️Things to watch out for
🚫You can spend 2 hours at Changi Airport, so leave enough time to explore when entering or leaving the country.
🚫You don't need to get a transportation card if you don't want to, as you can use a VISA card to pay for public transport.
🚫November to February is the rainy season in Singapore, with frequent showers, so always carry an umbrella.
🚫Buy a Singapore SIM card online in advance, and bring all the daily necessities you need, as prices in Singapore are very high.
🚫Singapore is small, and you can visit all the popular attractions in 3–4 days, so leave 2 days for travel, and 5–6 days is enough.
🚫Stores with a tax-free sign or where you spend at least SGD 100 in a single store offer tax refunds.

Singapore Zoo
Remember to follow the adorable zookeeper for more updates 🥰
Take the MRT to 'NS14-Khatib Station' and there is a paid shuttle bus directly to the zoo. The return bus is free.
The Singapore Zoo is very large. To promote environmental protection, there are no paper maps provided. You need to print one yourself or download an image from the internet for convenience.
You can plan to spend about half a day exploring. The animals are not confined by high fences and roam freely. Orangutans and peacocks might pass by you! There is a tram inside the zoo with 4 stops, running every 10 minutes.
Most importantly, don't miss the animal shows. The sea lion performance is amazing 👍 (check the official website for showtimes)

There is always a super long queue for this!
In the heart of downtown Singapore, there is a very popular Korean barbecue restaurant, Um Yong Baek, that always has a really long queue! They specialize in premium cuts of meat and authentic Korean flavours.
The staff will barbecue the meats that you have ordered right in front of you, so you eat it straight off the grill. One of their famous dishes you have to try is the Busan-style dwaeji gukbap, basically Korean pork broth with rice. Prices aren’t cheap though, but it was worth the splurge!

Surf and turf night at a social dining restaurant!
Situated in the heritage neighbourhood of Lengkok Bahru, Professor Brawn is a restaurant and cafe that serves up a western menu! It is open from 9am to 9pm every day except Sundays.
On certain event nights, the restaurant has special menus that are seasonal in nature. At the time of our visit, it was surf and turf night with fresh seafood and made-to-order steaks! The food was delicious and highly recommended.

The Only Michelin-Starred Hawker Stall in Singapore
During this trip to Singapore, I visited many hawker stalls as usual. Most of them were quite good, but I couldn't miss the famous Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle.
Hill Street Tai Hwa is the only street food in Singapore that has earned a Michelin star, which speaks volumes about its quality.
Although the stall is not located in a tourist area but hidden within a residential neighborhood, it's still common to see long queues during holidays or weekends. If, like me, you hate waiting, visit during non-peak hours on weekdays.
The menu is very simple, offering only two types of noodles and two side dishes (the side dishes, dried fish and meatballs, are actually ingredients in the noodles), so there's no need to worry too much about what to order. Just decide whether you want soup noodles or dry noodles.
They use thick noodles that don't have an alkaline taste but instead have a slight vinegar aroma. The toppings include pork balls, pork liver, pork slices, dried fish, small wontons, and minced meat. I particularly love the crispy dried fish, but the most important ingredient is the pork lard, which adds a lot of flavor to the noodles. The noodles also come with a small bowl of seaweed soup, which makes the meal less dry. To be honest, it's not an extraordinary dish, just a traditional and authentic flavor.
I also ordered a bowl of meatball soup. The small pork balls have a texture that I like.
I'm increasingly fond of Teh Tarik, the local pulled tea, which is fragrant and sweet enough. For me, it even surpasses Hong Kong-style milk tea, which is quite an exaggeration!
Despite being a Michelin-starred stall for many years, its Google rating is quite low. Sometimes, you really have to try the food yourself to see if it suits your taste.

AMAZING CHINA TOWN SINGAPORE
#100waysoftravel #deliciousfood #历史古迹 #旅行灵感
I had an intransit stay in Singapore Chinatown Mercure Icon Hotel in Oct 2024, nice hotel which is strategically located in the centre of Chinatown. I spend half day walked around Chinatown and was amazed with its rich history, colorful streets, and diverse culinary offerings, Chinatown is a must-visit destination for travelers seeking an authentic cultural experience and local food delicacies. Chinatown's architecture is a captivating blend of baroque and Victorian styles. Stroll down Pagoda Street and Temple Street to admire the beautifully restored, colorful shophouses that tell stories of the past.
Recommended to explore the Maxwell food court just right to Maxwell MRT station for local dishes. Maxwell Food Centre is home to some of Singapore’s best hawker stalls. It’s lauded by both locals and tourists as THE hawker centre to go to if you want to savour true blue Singaporean food. We don’t have to say much, because the queues at some of these stalls speak volumes!Should try out the famous Tiantian Chicken Rice, Dimsum, Chinese Traditional Dessert, Rojak, etc.

🇸🇬 Capturing the Charm of Suntec City’s Fountain of Wealth
#pictureforperfectsingapore #100waysoftravel
In the heart of Suntec City, the Fountain of Wealth stands as a spectacular centerpiece, drawing visitors from around the world to marvel at its grandeur. Known as the largest fountain in the world, its design is rich with symbolic meaning, representing wealth and life. My visit to this iconic site was a memorable one from the unique vantage point I found at the Sky Garden.
Perched above the bustling city, the Sky Garden at Suntec City offers a panoramic view that provides a perfect backdrop for photography. From this elevated spot, I managed to capture the Fountain in all its glory. The fountain’s intricate design and the interplay of water and light create a dynamic spectacle that’s both mesmerizing and photographically compelling.
The surrounding architecture of Suntec City, with its modern contours and glass facades, added a sleek urban feel to the composition, enhancing the overall impact of the photo.
This image of the Fountain of Wealth, viewed from the serene ambiance of the Sky Garden, not only reflects the architectural innovation of Singapore but also symbolizes the prosperity and dynamic spirit of the city. It’s a reminder of how seamlessly beauty and symbolism can intertwine in urban spaces, making every corner of Singapore truly picture-perfect.

🇸🇬Let’s Makan in Singapore: My Top 3 Hawker Centers
#letsmakan
Singapore is celebrated for its vibrant street food scene, and I have had the pleasure of frequenting many of its hawker centers. Among them, three stand out as my favorites: Lau Pa Sat, Newton Food Centre, and Satay by the Bay. Each offers a unique taste of Singapore’s diverse culinary landscape.
1. Lau Pa Sat - Nestled in the heart of the business district, Lau Pa Sat strikes a perfect balance between historical charm and bustling city life. Famous for its satay street come evening, this iconic hawker center serves up skewers of grilled meat that are a must-try. The vibrant atmosphere, combined with a wide variety of local and international dishes, makes every visit a delightful experience.
2. Newton Food Centre - A favorite among both locals and tourists, Newton Food Centre is known for its seafood. The spicy, flavorful chili crab and barbecued stingray are local delicacies that keep me coming back. The lively ambiance and the high quality of food make it an essential stop for anyone craving authentic Singaporean street food.
3. Satay by the Bay - Located near the picturesque Gardens by the Bay, Satay by the Bay offers a scenic dining experience. It’s a great place to enjoy satay and other local snacks while basking in the view of the waterfront. The relaxed, open-air setting is perfect for a leisurely meal after exploring the nearby attractions.
Each of these hawker centers has its own distinct vibe and specialty, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of Singapore. Whether you’re in the mood for some late-night satay, seafood, or a scenic meal, these centers offer an authentic taste of local life with flavors that cater to every palate.
