Half Day Trip to Yangmingshan National Park

Getting There - Join a day tour or hire a driver or even take the metro to get there from Taipei. Attractions - Many interesting sites like the Flower clock, Xiaoyoukeng (where there is volcanic activity), Bamboo lake (but no floral blooms in summer), Yangming Shuwu (where Chiang Kaishek used to stay). Overall, very nice and scenic mountain views. You can also visit the natural hot springs on the other side of the mountain/ national park. Food & Restaurants - There are restaurants and cafes near the old American army quarters
