Peneda-Gerês National Park - Portugal

This park was created at the end of the 20th century and is the oldest protected area in Portugal. It covers almost 700 km and occupies the counties of Viana do Castelo, Braga and Vila Real, so naturally there is a lot to explore! There you will enjoy picturesque valleys, mixed forests, streams, and of course, flora and fauna.
