Volcano in Utah! 🌋 Yes and it was HUGE 🌋

Stratovolcanoes erupted in western Utah between about 40 and 25 million years ago. but, Utah was much closer back then to the pacific plate and today we see evidence of this in the form of lava fields sprawled out over hundreds of miles. it’s important to note that cars are not allowed up at the scenic areas and you must hike to each of these mountains. Some are easy some will take all day. but, this was a lot of fun for me as I spent the night camping in the mountains.
