Mingyue Mountain + Yangshimu One-Day Tour Timeline

At 8:10 AM, take a carpool near Yichun Station for 44 yuan. Arrive at Mingyue Mountain Visitor Center at 9:00 AM. Purchase tickets on-site: a combined ticket for admission + round-trip cable car + round-trip small train for 268 yuan. The combined ticket can only be bought offline; online tickets only include admission + round-trip cable car for 240 yuan. The round-trip small train ticket from Mingyue Mountain to Yangshimu must be purchased separately for 100 yuan. Walk 10 minutes to the lower cable car station, take the cable car up the mountain. After getting off the cable car, buy a 15 yuan electric cart ticket to the small train station. Walking takes more than 20 minutes. The small train departs at 10:10 AM and arrives at Yangshimu (Ji'an City) at 10:30 AM. Purchase Yangshimu Scenic Area admission + round-trip electric cart ticket for 130 yuan. Take the electric cart to the Lingyun plank road entrance. Start hiking at 10:50 AM. Pictures 1-11 show the scenery on Lingyun plank road, featuring many strange peaks and rocks, with distant views (Picture 2). Arrive at Jiufulou transfer station at 12:20 PM, take the sightseeing bus back to the small train station. The small train departs at 12:50 PM and returns to Mingyue Mountain (Yichun City) at 1:10 PM. After exiting the small train station, walk to Xingyue Cave (Picture 12). Coming out of the cave leads to Qingyun plank road (1:40 PM). Pictures 13-15 show the scenery on Qingyun plank road, which is relatively ordinary. Arrive at Mingyue Lake at 2:40 PM (Picture 16), which is actually a reservoir on the mountaintop and not very scenic. At 3:00 PM, take the electric cart (separate ticket 15 yuan) to the upper cable car station, then take the cable car down the mountain. On the way out of the cable car, the maple and ginkgo leaves have changed color, perfect for taking photos (Pictures 17-18). Arrive at the parking lot at 3:50 PM. The bus stop is here. At 4:10 PM, take bus 118 back to Yichun city center. The bus runs every 15 minutes, costs 5 yuan to the terminal station Mingyue Interchange, and the whole trip takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.
