Mount Sanqing is so magical!!

“Admiring the five great mountains, the best view is at Mount Sanqing” Truly worthy of being the number one immortal mountain in the world—Mount Sanqing, absolutely stunning! 8 hours of hiking, the feeling throughout can be summed up in one word: "immortal" Climbing along the mountain path from the West Coast plank road, every frame is like a painting; reaching the summit of the main peak—Yujing Peak at 1819m elevation, the view is unobstructed! It’s just too beautiful!! Tips 🛠️ 🏠 Accommodation: Arrived in Shangrao the night before 1. From Shangrao Station to Wanda Plaza (by taxi, 9km, about 20 RMB) 2. Stay at Wanda Plaza (Wanda Plaza Fuli Jiahua Hotel has a shuttle bus stop to Mount Sanqing, earliest departure at 6:00 AM. This hotel is a bit pricey, so we stayed at a budget hotel nearby and walked there the next day) 🧗🧗 Activities Core: Mount Sanqing (large loop hiking trail, total estimated time about 7-8 hours, around 18km) 1. Buy bus tickets (40 RMB each) via the “Xingrong Travel” WeChat public account From Wanda Plaza Fuli Jiahua Hotel to Mount Sanqing South Outer Shuangxi (about 1.5 hours by bus) 2. Mount Sanqing ticket: 120 RMB. Two options: A: Outer Shuangxi cable car up station to cable car down station (about 15 minutes), cable car ticket 120 RMB / B: Hiking up from Outer Shuangxi trailhead (1.5 hours, this section is pure ascent and quite physically demanding. We hiked up; there’s not much scenery on this part, so it’s recommended to take the cable car to save energy) 3. Clothing: windbreaker, lightweight long-sleeve sweater, quick-dry short-sleeve shirt underneath. It turned out to be quite hot while hiking, so we barely wore the windbreaker, only in a few slightly cold spots. 4. Bring: ID card, water (many supply points but a bit expensive), snacks (including lunch), power bank, hat 5. Route We took the Outer Shuangxi cable car up, then hiked clockwise along the loop, first heading towards the West Coast, all the way to Sanqing Palace, and finally summited Yujing Peak. But due to time constraints and fear of missing the cable car down, we gave up the South Coast plank road (Jinsha cable car direction, mainly because it was under maintenance; once you go there you can’t go down directly and must return. After mid-December when it reopens, there won’t be such a rush). In the end, we returned and took the Gangshou cable car down. Although a bit regrettable, reaching the summit was enough!
