What to Buy at Lingyin Temple, Hangzhou
#travelshopping
If you're planning to visit Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, there are a few meaningful souvenirs worth considering to bring back as gifts or keepsakes.
One of the most popular items is the Eighteen Beads bracelet, which comes in various beautiful beads. Be sure to purchase it directly from the temple, as prices are more affordable than in the souvenir shops outside. You’ll also find small charms or amulets meant to bring good luck or protection, many of which are tied to local beliefs and Buddhist traditions. Additionally, you can explore an array of cute Chinese culture figurines, tote bags, fans, and other unique mementos.
Hangzhou is renowned for its Longjing (Dragon Well) tea, and you can find it available in souvenir shops along the path leading to the temple. This high-quality tea makes an excellent gift for tea enthusiasts.

Great Hospitality at Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou West Lake East
#hospitality
We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou West Lake East! The front desk staff were super helpful and even gave us an early check-in, which made our day after a long trip. There's a convenient travel agency counter right in the hotel lobby where you can easily book tours to West Lake, Linyin Temple, and other local attractions. The prices are reasonable, and the staff also gave us some helpful advice on taking taxis around the city. Overall, it made exploring Hangzhou really easy!

A poetic getaway in Hangzhou, a tranquil time at Xiang Lake.
My destination this time is Hangzhou, and I am at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor. Walking to the window, I can see the green Xiang Lake. I chose to come to Hangzhou to experience this unique tranquility and comfort.
I chose to stay at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor. Here, it is away from the dust but not the city, hidden from the world but not far from the world. Xiang Lake Freedom Manor is located in Xiang Lake National Tourism Resort, and its unique geographical location and architectural style attracted me.
During the day, you can choose to take a boat tour of Xiang Lake. The boat is on the water, and the surrounding mountains and rivers seem to become agile. Whenever the boat passes a small island or a stone bridge, I feel a poetic picture. When the setting sun is on the lake, the golden light makes Xiang Lake more charming.
After nightfall, I chose to stroll by Xiang Lake. Watching a live performance "Xiang Lake Ya Yun" in Xiang Lake opened up another side of this landscape for me. In this quiet night, listening to the sound of water, the sound of wind, and the sound of opera, it is intoxicating. I felt this unique charm and poetry of Xiang Lake.
The accommodation experience of Xiang Lake Freedom Manor also impressed me. The hotel's design integrates natural and modern elements, both ancient charm and fashionable atmosphere. The hotel's facilities are complete, whether it is an indoor swimming pool or a children's playground, gym, etc., it makes people feel the warmth and comfort of home. And the photos taken by the outdoor swimming pool at night are even more refreshing.
During these three days and two nights of vacation in Hangzhou, I felt an unprecedented relaxation and comfort at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor. There is not only beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation experience, but also a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle and returning to nature. I believe that this wonderful time will become one of my unforgettable memories in my life.

Qinghefang Ancient Street in Hangzhou
#ancienttown
Qinghefang is a cool spot in Hangzhou, known for its ancient vibes. It’s an old street that’s been around since the Southern Song Dynasty. Imagine walking down a street where the buildings have seen centuries go by! Here, you can explore historical shops, visit century-old shops like Wangxingji Fan Store, Zhangxiaoquan Scissors, and Huqingyutang Pharmacy. These places offer a glimpse into traditional Chinese craftsmanship and medicine. Take a stroll and admire the well-preserved buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The architecture alone is worth the visit.
This place is packed with traditional shops, teahouses, and restaurants. You can find all sorts of local goodies and get a real taste of Hangzhou’s history and culture. It’s like stepping back in time while still being in the heart of the city.

Xiao Yang Pan-Fried Dumplings at Hangzhou Railway Station
#coupletravel
If you're ever at the Hangzhou Railway Station and feeling hungry, Xiao Yang Pan-Fried Dumplings is a must-try spot. The dumplings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, packed with delicious pork and crab roe fillings. Another popular option is the pork chop noodles, so delicious. They’re quick, affordable, and perfect for grabbing a quick bite before catching a train.
The restaurant is usually quite busy, but the service is fast, so you won't have to wait long. Pair the dumplings with green bean soup or soy milk for a more filling meal. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this is a nice little pit stop for something tasty and satisfying.

Next time I go to Hangzhou, I'll stay here again! Quiet and comfortable.
Experience the beauty of the mountains and rivers outside West Lake! Three days and two nights in Hangzhou, stay in Xiang Lake Freedom Manor, away from the hustle and bustle but not too far from the city.
Xiang Lake Freedom Manor is conveniently located in Xiang Lake National Tourism Resort, not far from Xiang Lake Subway Station, but it is more suitable for self-driving.
🦋"Enjoy freedom here."
The hotel is full of design, with many places to check in. The design incorporates theatrical culture, with many elements such as Liang Zhu, butterflies, and stages. Whether it's the long corridor, the stairs, or the rooftop viewing platform, they all make for great photos.
There are also outdoor water play areas, indoor swimming pools, gyms, and children's centers, making it ideal for family vacations.
My room was on the ninth floor, and it was huge, with the creative idea of "the world outside the stage". Welcome fruits, free mini bar, and a large round bathtub in the bathroom, making it a full-fledged vacation.
The open balcony faces the green mountains, full of greenery and freshness.
There are also many restaurants around Xiang Lake Freedom Manor, and Xiang Lake Water Street is within walking distance, with many places to check in.
1️⃣【Surroundings|Recommended tour route】
Xiang Lake Freedom Manor - Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum (pointing) - Lai Xin Xia Academy - Xiang Lake Water Street - Yangdi - Yang Shi Statue - Cross-Lake Bridge Site Museum - Chengshan Square (pointing) - Yuewang City Site (pointing)
Staying at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor is perfect for a lazy vacation. Like me, you can have afternoon tea and a Western dinner at the hotel, with a full sense of ceremony and relaxation.
2️⃣【Food Time|Summer Afternoon Tea Set】
For a leisurely afternoon, why not have a double afternoon tea at Shiguang All-Day Restaurant? Fruit platter, exquisite cakes, three tiers of sweet and savory snacks, drinks for two... such a leisurely afternoon.
3️⃣【Reflection|Western Dinner Set】
The Western dinner set at the hotel's Xiangying Restaurant is really great value, with excellent service and environment. Hot bread, butter grilled with fire, and the perfect temperature of the sirloin steak.
4️⃣【Night|A Wonderful Show】
If you stay at Xiang Lake Freedom Manor, be sure to see "Xiang Lake Elegance" at night. You can walk along Xiang Lake from the hotel and reach Yangdi. This live performance is considered the ceiling of Hangzhou's art world, with the distant mountains as the backdrop and the lake water as the base. It's a grand production, with nearly two hours of visual feast and constant applause.
🌇Looking at Xiang Lake, poetic living. If you're looking for a hidden luxury vacation retreat, choose Xiang Lake Freedom Manor!

Hangzhou in the rain is a must-visit hidden gem.
Hangzhou in the rain perfectly embodies the phrase "misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River".
There are many places to shoot in Hangzhou on rainy days. However, my favorite place to shoot is:
【Hupao Park】
📍Hidden gems in Hupao Park:
✅Hupao Road. It's worth shooting and checking in. The Hupao Road at the entrance can take pictures of the forest-like misty scenery.
✅Hupao statue. Here you can take pictures of one of the symbols of Hupao: the statue of two tigers.
✅Han Hui Pavilion. The woods and pavilions are in the same frame, full of ancient charm.
✅Jade Belt Pool. There are a lot of koi to shoot.
📸Shooting skills and post-production ideas:
In the early stage of shooting, focus on Hupao Road and Metasequoia forest, and the picture focuses on showing green.
In the later stage, you can adjust the color to a cold tone, lower the brightness at the same time, and reduce the saturation of green.

The climbing bears are so cute! There are also bears climbing trees.
Hangzhou's new check-in spot is here! The cute bears climb walls and jump trees, and they are so cute that they melt your heart! In this creative world, you can not only capture the romance of the California sunset, but also appreciate the beautiful island scenery, and unlock the popular Korean style on ins. Every place is a secret place for girls to take pictures.
📍Detailed address: [Dongchao Art Park]

Hangzhou's new must-visit spot: a hidden gem in the city, the Courtyard Study.
I love the smell of books, tea, and coffee. This is a hidden gem in Hangzhou, a courtyard with aesthetic design, a comprehensive leisure resort integrating a study, teahouse, coffee shop, purple sand museum, banquet box, and meeting room.
The Courtyard Study is a hidden gem, a surprising and quiet place, where all the people who come and go are ambitious. Located in the alley next to the Mingyang Building, there are osmanthus trees and grapefruit trees full of fruits in the large courtyard, and there are swings to swing, leisurely walks, and watching the clouds rise and fall...
The coffee shop and study on the first floor have a large venue and can do many activities. The elevator goes to the second floor, which is also the Liyong Purple Sand Museum and teahouse box, banquet dining box. The elegant tea art lady served us tea, fruit, and sweet soup, and then brewed Yunnan black tea for us with a purple sand pot. Sitting in front of the green window with sunlight coming in, it suddenly made people calm down, and it was a pleasant tea time.
I like the Courtyard Study very much, so I also recommend it to you🍵

When you come to Hangzhou, you must know about the urban legend of the Wulin Night Market
In the bustling city, there is a place filled with the atmosphere of fireworks and the charm of the martial arts world—the Wulin Night Market.
Here, the lights shine like scattered stars, illuminating every corner full of stories. The bustling crowd, shoulder to shoulder, seems like a grand martial arts gathering. On both sides of the street, the dazzling stalls are like the formations set up by various heroes. At the handicraft stalls, exquisite jewelry and unique small items are like mysterious treasures in martial arts secrets, attracting people's attention. The aroma wafting from the food stalls is like the powerful aura emitted during a duel between masters, making it irresistible.
Here, you can taste delicious snacks from all over the world, from crispy fried chicken to sweet and delicate pastries, each bite is like a martial arts competition on your taste buds. You can also wander between the stalls, picking out your favorite souvenirs, leaving beautiful memories of this unique 'martial arts journey.'

Weekend Getaway 028 | Summer Evening Breeze at West Lake
West Lake, renowned since ancient times, is located in Hangzhou, often referred to as 'Heaven on Earth'. It remains a top-tier tourist destination, always bustling with visitors. It's a must-see! ❤️ However, from mid-June to the end of August, temperatures often exceed 40°C. If you plan to visit during summer, it's advisable to enter the park after 4 PM and take a few rides on the electric shuttle to save time.
The entire West Lake scenic area is vast and can take a whole day to explore thoroughly. If you only want to visit the Ten Scenes of West Lake, based on personal experience, you can complete it in half a day with a leisurely pace. Generally, it's recommended to start from the Broken Bridge Remnant Snow on the north side and walk counterclockwise, ending at Orioles Singing in the Willows.
West Lake is truly beautiful. I highly recommend staying until dusk to see the Leifeng Pagoda Sunset. ☀️ The weather was perfect that day, and we caught the sunset glow. Watching the sunset while enjoying the summer evening breeze was incredibly relaxing and perfect. ❤️

DJ Snake Music performance in Hangzhou China 🇨🇳
#performances
A finger refers to the gathering place of people from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Chaozhou. The tickets have already been issued, and major platforms have DJ Snake. Alanwalker, the leader of illenium Phoenix Alanwalker, is performing in Hangzhou for the first time. It is said that this is DJ Snake's last performance in China, and he will retire from Snake's performance the following year. There will be one less performance to watch. (Phoenix Education, the leader of Snake, and the three elders gathered together in the red DJ! It's all happy to think about it. I can't believe it. If we leave the storm scene, Hangzhou Storm Electronic Rhythm will become the largest electronic rhythm IP in China and the enlightenment place for Chinese electronic music fans. There are also some other well-known top 100 DJs.) The lineup is strong and the gold content is high. I am the first large-scale electronic music rhythm in the history of Hangzhou. Their exciting scene is burning and exploding, which will shake all your senses and audio-visual feast. I will jump crazily

Weekend Getaway 026 | If You Are the One · Hangzhou Xixi Wetland Park
Xixi Wetland is a must-visit spot in Hangzhou, but it gained widespread fame from scenes in the movie 'If You Are the One.' Watching the movie made me think, 'I should visit this place someday!'
It's said that the best time to visit Xixi Wetland is in autumn, when boats glide through the vast reeds, creating an unparalleled sense of desolation that is breathtakingly beautiful. However, the period between spring and summer, when everything is flourishing and lush green, offers a fresh and unique beauty ❤️. I particularly enjoy the refreshing feeling of walking through the lotus ponds and bamboo forests, which is also very cool and relaxing!
The entire national park is vast and cannot be fully explored in half a day. Generally, visitors pay to take small boats between the main stations, allowing for a leisurely day of exploration and photography. Highly recommended 👍

Compared to West Lake, I prefer this free, niche ancient town in Hangzhou
Don't go to West Lake where it's crowded with people. This niche ancient town in Hangzhou is not only free but also offers a great experience. It's simply a favorite for many people. Come and enjoy it.
🎫Ticket: Free🆓
📍Address: Xianghu Yuejie X-LIVIN
🅿️Parking: Shangshan Bridge South Parking Lot
🎢Three ancient bridges lie across the clear waters. A leisurely stroll takes about 0.5 - 1 hour to complete.
🏞️The riverside buildings are staggered, with black tiles and white walls reflecting in the water, resembling a lively ink painting.
🧊Walking along the river, you will find an ice melting art exhibition in the East Square. A giant ice block forms the character '运' (fortune), standing prominently. Touching it instantly drives away the summer heat.
☑️Along the way, there are bubble tea shops, coffee shops, bookstores, and more. When you get tired, grab an iced drink or visit the Xin Xia Academy to browse local chronicles and learn about the local history.📚
TranquilEscapes
This is the first time staying in such a unique hotel, and it was quite a pleasant surprise
We booked a room for four people, with two floors. For this price, the hardware facilities are impeccable and already perfect, even the hairdryer is a Dyson. However, the quilt cover is not soft, making a rustling sound when you turn over. Also, the marked area in the picture is easy to bump your head, so a gentle reminder should be posted. Overall, quite satisfied, and will try a different room type next time.

A Peaceful Visit to Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou 🇨🇳
Lingyin Temple is one of the most well known Buddhist temples located in Hangzhou, China. It has a history of over 1700 years and is nestled between a forest and mountain. Lingyin literally means ‘soul’s retreat’.
🎫 First buy a ticket to enter Feilei scenic area for 45rmb and then a separate ticket to enter Lingyin temple for 30rmb.
As you enter the temple complex there is the Hall of Heavenly Kings directly infront of you. In here there are Buddha statues and the Kings standing fiercely on the sides. Continue to walk out of the back door and there are more halls going up the mountain. It’s so impressive to see hall after hall, and then amazed that there are more steps behind! At the very top, the last hall has the most impressive Buddha statues I’ve ever seen. It’s truly incredible.
For me, this might be one of the best temples I’ve visited. I think the element of surprise and not knowing what’s next, as you walk through hall after hall and up the mountain!

Hiking through Longjing Tea Fields in Hangzhou 🇨🇳
Longjing Tea Fields are located in Hangzhou, China, and often overlooked as a place to visit. The city already has so many things to do that people will skip coming here.
Located in the West Lake area, Longjing Tea Fields are near Xiwongjia Mountain. There is a spring pool here that is not dry even during severe drought ~ in ancient times, people believed it was connected to the ocean with a dragon in it, so this is where the name Longjing comes from 🐉
The hike is quite easy to the top of the hills, with excellent scenery as you walk through narrow paths surrounded by tea leaves. At the top there is a beautiful view of Hangzhou city and West Lake. It is an incredible photo opportunity 📸
There is a traditional Chinese village nearby, of which almost all the residents work in the tea fields. It’s a very interesting experience.

Ultimate Guide to Hangzhou, China 🇨🇳
Hangzhou is located in Zhejiang Province, China. Only an hour away from Shanghai by high speed train, it’s perfect for a weekend away from the big city, or even can be done as a day trip. Save this guide for your next trip!
📍 Lingyin Temple - One of the oldest Buddhist temples in Hangzhou with a history of 1700 years. There are many halls that go up the mountain. It’s one of the most breathtaking temples I’ve ever visited.
🎫 Buy a ticket to enter Feilei scenic area for 45rmb, and then another ticket to enter the temple for 30rmb.
📍 West Lake - The most iconic area of the city. Walk around the lake over the Broken Bridge and Su Causeway, and I recommend taking a boat to see the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.
📍 Leifeng Pagoda - Located on the South Bank of West Lake. You can go underground to see the ruins of the original pagoda that collapsed in 1924. Go to the top at sunset for beautiful views over the lake!
🎫 Tickets cost 40rmb per person.
📍 Longjing Tea Fields - Go for a hike through the tea fields up the hill. The scenery is beautiful and the view from the top is incredible.

Come to Hangzhou! This West Lake Courtyard B&B welcomes everyone to this world!
It's my first time staying in such a comfortable hotel in Hangzhou! I have to show off! It has such a great atmosphere, as if living in a secluded paradise in the forest. This B&B by the West Lake in Hangzhou is also super nice to stay at! Next to West Lake ◆ Original wood design ◆ Fully equipped. Friends planning to come to Hangzhou, you really have to
The hotel is located in the Shangmanjuelong area of West Lake. The B&B is right in the Manjuelong Scenic Area of West Lake.
It's about a 20-minute walk to West Lake. Open the curtains and you can see the stunning mountain view outside. There are also beautiful tea gardens around the B&B.
Waking up in the morning, you can breathe in the fresh tea aroma.
I love the original wood design.
The rooms at the B&B are designed in a very luxurious original wood style with huge floor-to-ceiling windows↵that offer a view of the outside scenery. Although the rooms are not particularly large, they are very clean and tidy. The facilities in the room are also very complete.
There is a large bathtub, and you can bring disposable bath bags to take a bath. The toiletries and bedding are all from international brands.
Fully equipped facilities.
The hotel's various public facilities are also super complete.
