Malaysia offers an immersive experience at the LEGOLAND Hotel
🏨 LEGOLAND Hotel Malaysia
❤Recommended Reason:
It's truly an immersive LEGO world experience, where every decoration is assembled from LEGO bricks, including the various LEGO figures that four-and-a-half-year-olds love, making it feel like you've entered a virtual LEGO world!
🌟Highlights:
The rooms have different themes, and every detail after entering the hotel is touching! First of all, the lobby is a LEGO brick world, with various LEGO-built castles and brick pools, where children can play and assemble freely!
To the left of the lobby is the customer service center and the place for room check-in, and to the right are various LEGO souvenir and toy stores!
🍽Dining Recommendations:
Through the lobby is the restaurant, filled with LEGO chef figures! It feels as if these little chefs are really cooking. The restaurant offers buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with breakfast charged per room!
Lunch and dinner are charged per person, and the dishes are mainly Indonesian and Malaysian specialties, which might take some getting used to!
🛏Room Facilities:
The chosen room is mummy-themed, and opening the door is truly shocking
Every detail makes you feel as if you are in the world of mummies
Upon entering, there is a bathroom, followed by a children's bunk bed, with another bed that can be pulled out from under the bunk bed, comfortably sleeping three children!
Further inside is a large bedroom with a double bed, and there is also a treasure chest in the room. By solving the clues on the clue card in the room and entering the correct code, you can open the safe and receive a surprise gift!
These thoughtful touches are really appealing to children, and adults alike, as the immersive LEGO experience makes everyone forget their age and join in the fun!
👍Most Recommended:
All the service staff are very enthusiastic, and there are various interactive performances in the lobby at different times, allowing children from all over the world to gather together at this moment because of their love for the LEGO world!

Cafe by the quayside 🍹🍸🥂
#weekendgetaways
Wondering where to go in Johor? If you prefer to stay indoor rather than spending time outside with the hot sun, cafe hopping is one of best choice for you as Johor is having a lot of beautiful themed cafes.
This O’ Coffee Atelier Club is one the cafe that we visited with a quayside view!! Overall the foods are good - especially the pizza and the macha drink as they use the Neko Niko brand! In term of the environment, it is super nice and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating!!
There also offer some coffee products to sell inside such as the machine, powders, cups and etc.

Race to Chase after Dog 🏎️🏁🏎️🏁
#weekendgetaways
There is a kart racing track right in front of this cafe. Find it quite unique as the racers will come over for coffee or snacks after the kart race.
Personally love this cafe because it is like an enclosed camp site with aircond and natural light. Not to mention, we ordered a cup of hot latte and felt that it suits our taste, strongly recommend to come by for a try!
Besides, there is also another cafe beside and it is more on a resting site for the racers and also visitors!

Coffee shop by the quayside ☕️
#weekendgetaways
I was grateful that I made a choice to stop by Puteri Harbour Quayside during my Johor Trip. Visited this Richiamo Coffee outlet here and notice the amazing quayside view!
Notice this outlet is slightly different because there is a big wall painted with something related to the local.
They not just provide coffee but also series of dessert and light snacks (croissant etc) as part of their offerings. Recommended!

🇲🇾 It's raining in Legoland!? No worries
With an average annual rainfall of about 3000 mm, Malaysia is one of the rainiest countries in the world. In the unfortunate event that it rains during your visit to Legoland, remember to look for indoor attractions as all outdoor attractions will be closed.
Legoland is a huge theme park divided into 8 main areas with more than 40 rides and attractions. There is at least one restaurant in each themed area for you to seek shelter and have a bite while waiting for the rain to stop.

Laksamana Charity Fun Run 2023
The Laksamana Charity Fun Run, founded several years ago, has evolved into a cherished tradition in the community calendar. The primary aim of the Run is to encourage physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. It serves as a reminder that taking care of one's well-being is the first step toward contributing positively to society. This event is not just about running; it's about running with a purpose. The funds raised through registrations and sponsorships go towards various charitable initiatives, such as providing aid to underprivileged children, supporting medical research, and aiding disaster relief efforts. The run brings together a diverse group of individuals, fostering a sense of community and unity. It is a day when people from different backgrounds come together, transcending their differences in a shared mission of doing good.

Funtime @ Legoland Malaysia
#malaysia
Recently we visited the world class themepark - Legoland. It’s located at Gelang Patah , 30 minutes from Johor Bahru airport. We reach here at 9am but the gate only open at 9.30am. Our favourite ride is Ninjago Adventure and Lego Race. The best thing here is my 5 years old boys can enjoy all the ride as the minimum height is 105cm where all other themepark required a minimum 120cm.
Other things that i love about this park is they have a covered air condition building for kids to rest whenever the felt tired in a hot weather. And please buy the tickets online to avoid long que.

Phenomenal Stay at Legoland
#hotelreview
Theres nothing not to like at Legoland Hotel. From the moment we enter the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the giant lego character. A pirate ship full of lego and and a delicious welcome drink. As we enter the elevator, after the door close, theres a music and spinning disco ball light. And the room is like a fantasy. We choose the pirate theme room and we do felt like a pirate staying in the ship. The room has seperate area for kids and adult which is a huge advantage as we can have privacy from the kids. And the kids can make a mess at their own area with a box of lego that provided for each room.
Price : RM700 ++ (with breakfast for 4)

Halloween happens every year on 31 October and it's just around the corner since we are already in the month of October, so what better way to celebrate Halloween than to be in Legoland Malaysia, where the whole place is decked in Halloween decorations and fun filled Halloween activites.
Kids will be in for a treat as there's many Halloween photo taking spots. You can pose with lego bricks halloween characters, put on a Dracula costume and stand next to a lego Dracula character, stand on top of a pumpkin structure made entirely out of lego bricks. Muscial instruments are there, where you can play a tune to and different lego stations where you can make your own scary lego creations. At Legoland Malaysia food kiosks, don't forget to look out for their special Halloween treats such as Halloween themed muffins, cookies, waffle ice cream and many more. A Mesmerizing Underwater Adventure
As a first-time visitor to Sea Life Johor Bahru, I was captivated by the enchanting underwater world it offered. The aquarium boasts a stunning array of marine life, from vibrant coral reefs to majestic sharks and graceful sea turtles.
The highlight of my visit was the mesmerizing tunnel, where I felt like I was walking on the ocean floor surrounded by colorful fish and even stingrays gliding above me. The interactive touch pools allowed me to get up close with starfish and sea cucumbers, making it an educational experience for all ages.
The exhibits were well-maintained, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, readily answering questions and sharing interesting facts about the aquatic inhabitants. Although the facility isn't as large as some major aquariums, it offers an immersive and memorable experience for families and solo travelers alike.
Overall, Sea Life Johor Bahru is a fantastic destination for those looking to explore the wonders of the ocean in a captivating and educational setting.

Legoland!
#malaysia
Family fun at legoland! We braved the crowd and drove to Malaysia during the school holidays. It was well worth it as we had so much family fun. My son loved competing during the ninjago ride for the high score! No guesses who is the winner. We also enjoyed the live shows and meet and greet. There were soo many playgrounds within the compound! The annual passes were great too if you planned to come here often. We stayed in Hotel Jen which was a drive less than 10 mins. This legoland features a newly renovated little worlds which details famous architectures bulid with lego blocks. The lego express was also fun!

Miniland With Shelters in Legoland Malaysia
#malaysia
During my recent trip to Legoland Malaysia, guess what I've found out? Miniland in Legoland Malaysia is finally sheltered! So, even if it rains or shine, everyone gets to explore, enjoy and have fun under the shade.
Miniland in Legoland showcases all of lego's wonderful mini creations, it's like a mini world being created using lego bricks. It is fascinating how a small brick can build something so colourful and majestic. You will see all the different landmarks of different Asian countries, for instance the merlion in miniland Singapore, the twin tower in miniland Kuala Lumpur, the Taj mahal in miniland India and so many more. It's cool, shady and interesting, so much so my kids had fun at miniworld Legoland. Go visit it.

Property Investment Singaporeans favourite
#mysgmemories
Singapore’s favourite past time is to invest in properties. As singapore property is quite expensive. Some would switch their focus to malaysia as its more affordable
Back in 2012 Singaporeans were queueing up before the launch of teega residence. A luxurious resort style facilities condo
This is how it looked like after vacant possession. Great seaview, nice infinity pool and u can even see tengeh reservoir

Funday at Legoland Malaysia
Attractions - Legoland consist 3 park that is, Themepark, Waterpark and Sea-life. It’s my first time ever visiting a Legoland. It was a wonderful experience. I brought my kids aged 4 and 5 there. They enjoyed seeing the miniature world, driving the junior cars, boat, train and even the rollercoaster. Its their first experience on the rollercoaster and they loved it.
It’s not a big themepark but totally enough attractions for a family like ours to spend a whole day there. If planning to visit the waterpark too, better plan for one more day to visit it. So you need at least 2 days to explore all the rides. Annual ticket is recommended if planning to come for 2 days. Only with annual ticket you can re-enter the park anytime. For Sea-life, you only need at least an hour to tour around, small yet interesting aquarium with lego themed.
Hotels - We stayed at Legoland Hotel. Rooms include 2 separate sleeping areas; with a king-sized bed for adults and a separate area for up to 3 children, complete with bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their very own TV. Perfect for the kids to have fun space. The breakfast served taste good and variety selection. They also have Lobby Entertainment daily, don't miss out on build activities, family fun games, dance-along session, ballon making, waffle making and more. Triple Park Annual Pass holders enjoy 20% Off Legoland Hotel stay.
Food & Restaurants - Inside each Legoland park they offer a wide variety of restaurant choices from Asian to Western cuisines. Though it quite pricey, but the kids for surely will love their lego themed food.
Shopping - There is a lot of Lego shop all around the park and inside the hotel too. Triple Park Annual Pass holders enjoy 10% off selected LEGO retail products in theproducts in all retail outlets in the Theme Park, Water Park and LEGOLAND Hotel.
Tips : Legoland is very strict on height restriction. Need to make sure the kids height is 105cm, get to play most of the games. Free entrance for infant not more than 80cm. Come non-peak hour no waiting. Plan your visit early by checking on Legoland website to take note of any ride closure. We visited on weekday Tuesday and bought annual pass. Its so worth it as we can re-enter anytime. Will return again.😊

This Place Serves Indian + Arab Cuisine
This might be confusing to some, but there is a difference between Indian and Arabic food.
So if you don't know which to pick, come here because they have it all, from Nan with mutton curry to Falafel.
Tried the food in the restaurant. Nothing spectacular about the food. Taste just an average. However, restaurant appears clean and beautiful. Staff are courteous. Service was fast. Price is reasonable.

Romantizing Johor Bahru hidden gem
Add this itinerary if you are looking for somewhere new to discover across the Causeway. Home to many of Johor Bahru’s main attractions, such as Legoland and Puteri Harbour, you’ll find this hidden gem in Iskandar Puteri.
Tucked at the back of Bangunan Dato’ Jaafar Muhammad, you’ll find these lovely gardens, with elegant pavilions, terraces and water features. Inspired by the Mughal Sultans of India with a mix of Morrocan architecture, this place exudes a romantic vibe in every corner.
Happy exploring!

Legostastic stay!
#summerfest #legolandhotel
The Legoland hotel is a great and child friendly hotel.
The rooms are well designed and can accomodate 4 easily. They are clean and comfortable and well appointed.
There are plenty of nice touches like child sized robes, Lego decorations and branded toiletries.
While by no means luxurious, they are very fit for purpose.
The staff are helpful, efficient and friendly. Restaurant staff were attentive and welcoming and the concierge and support staff were amazing arranging taxis when required.
The primary reason to stay in the hotel is its proximity to the theme park and you can enter and leave the park all day on a valid ticket.
A short trip made exceptional by the service provided.

Impressive and quiet book store Sunway Bigbox
Stayed at Fraser Puteri harbour and Sunway Bigbox is one of the nearby shopping areas. Found this book store at level 2 facing Anytime Fitness and other stores on level 2 have closed down. Nice and cosy book store with a cool design. All are English books and children books are on the second level. There is a promotion running currently whereby every 7th book is free, capped at RM20. Worth visiting if nearby.#Sunway big box
