I would highly recommend booking a train ticket in advance, it only took 5 mins from SG to JB central! Do remember to check in at least 20 minutes early before the gate closes, the journey there was smooth and hassle-free!
📷 Photo Spots
I would recommend the JB cultural street at Tan Hiok Nee Heritage if you love art and history. There's the oldest Marry Brown in peranakan style there, it is good to dine in or take photos there. There are also some strry arts along the streets for you to take photos.
🍜 Local Cuisine
I noticed they serve a lot of peranakan and nyonya food. I would recommend their fried mee Tai mak and chilli pan mee.

We started at Amari Johor Bahru and the location is perfect, walkable distance from KB sentral, a few malls around and it is only a 15 mins driveti Mid Valley! The room is spacious

The restaurant offers a variety of noodles such as kuey teow, bihun, yellow mee, wanton mee, meebok, laksa panjang and laksa pendek.

We ordered the frozen yogurt special which came with layers of colourful fruits topped with a generous serving of mellow frozen yogurt. The items are reasonably priced and definitely cheaper than other famous frozen yogurt chains.

This Javanese massage and spa place has many branches in Johor Bahru. Even inside at City Square also has 2 branches. It is designed to have dim lighting and some of their massage rooms do not have door, only curtain for privacy. They have jacuzzi spa too but it is subject to availability because there is only 1 jacuzzi available. If you are a member, you get instant discount for services each time. It is also hard to take photos inside because of the dim lighting. Make sure you call or message them in advance to make an appointment. If they are full then you can consider the Thai massage place too.

Beutiful place. As mentioned in earlier reviews, the road going to the springs is a bit rugged due to the construction works that is ongoing.
Overall beautiful experience that we had! Nice food. Very friendly staff! Clean suites and no issues with water heating, wi-fi. Fuss free check-out as well. Highly recommended if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
Nearby JPO as well if you want to do some shopping. Looking forward to our next visit!
