KIRINTJIKOPI | A very classic and aesthetic place.
There’s an affordable spot in Kebayoran Baru. The place is spacious, the menu is varied, and it can be considered as a gathering point for breaking the fast later. No wonder visitors came and went that afternoon at krintji.kopi, either for a meal while chatting or to open their laptops.
Kopi Krintji has been operating for over 6 years in a well-maintained old house. It periodically renovates, and the noticeable changes for me are the addition of a rooftop floor and menu items. When I first had coffee here, the food menu was limited. Now, it’s quite varied with delicious options.
The classic burger, with homemade patty, has quickly become a favorite. This burger with french fries costs only 30 thousand, a filling portion for me. Another favorite of mine is the spicy sei sapi fried rice with a smoky aroma. You should also check out Kopi Krintji’s bestsellers, fried skin and the unique salted egg chicken rice with sambal matah—served with salted egg sauce and sambal matah.
Their espresso-based coffee uses robusta beans. Usually, I’m not a fan of this type of coffee, but it tasted good when I tried the kopi susu bujang, which has a stronger coffee flavor—for a lighter option, there’s kopi susu gadis. Turns out they use coffee from a roastery with high-quality beans, koeslanscoffee. No wonder there’s no typical robusta bitterness, even in the thicker kopi susu bujang.
It wouldn’t be complete without drinking arabica coffee, so I also ordered Japanese iced coffee. Coincidentally, all the single-origin coffee collections at the coffee bar are from Fugol, one of my favorite roasteries. All drinks at Kopi Krintji, including filter coffee and chocolate, are priced between 15-27 thousand.
Car parking is available around the café area, while motorcycle parking is available next to Zen Spa Pakubuwono.
