I had heard that cruises get a bad reputation, that cruisers get easily bored on the ship and tend to over-sleep and over-eat, but my first experience was on the Discovery Princess to Alaska, and I would highly recommend this cruise to everyone! Princess has a packed itinerary of daily activities for everyone, so nobody has an excuse to get bored. The ship is massive and new - there’s pools and a fitness center on the top decks, a huge theater, tons of restaurants and a buffet. The spa area is also popular. It is just a short drive(35mins) from town to rattlesnake ledge. This is located in the snoqualmie region. Be extra cautious during winter as the carpark can be icy and you might face a problem especially with 2 wheel drive. Bring food and water so that you can chill at the top and enjoy the view!
