San Jose

A beautiful little city where celebrities have vacation homes. Shopping, Pharmacy, Boating, Glass Blowing and tequila tasting are some of the things we enjoyed. For the most part everyone follows Covid precautions, but no one was really enforcing it. That was concerning to me, but I wore a mask when inside any business. So many beautiful people and the waters were calm on this side of Mexico. I look forward to going back again. A wonderful excursion and learning about a new culture. it wouldn’t be fair to talk about this property without sharing the amazing food options. In case the pools, the design, the location and the vibe doesn’t convince you— let’s talk food. Nobu Cafe in the lobby is great for coffee, snacks, and an evening cocktail. Malibu Farm has an outpost on the property offering organic farm-to-table dishes, Pacific Restaurant presents an elevated local Mexican menu, and of course Nobu’s namesake, Nobu Restaurant, is not to be missed. Nobu is a bit further from SJD airport than many Los Cabos hotels, located in the exclusive Diamante Community. So, the trip to the property is a bit longer and more expensive than other hotels— but that’s a small price to pay for the seclusion and serenity of this dreamy location beyond the hostel and bustle. Dreamy Escape to Nobu Hotel Los Cabos

If you’re anything like us, you’ve spent the better part of 2020 just dreaming of a getaway. This year (for everyone) hit a giant pause button on travel, and after 6 months in one place we decided it was time for a getaway— to beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico. Tara has just entered her 3rd trimester of pregnancy, so it was our window for a little babymoon, and the easy flight made Los Cabos the dream destination. We’ll post a full round-up of our time in Los Cabos, but the final stop of our trip was the stunning Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. You may know the Nobu name from their high-end sushi establishments, but the sushi empire has expanded into hotels and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is exactly what you would hope for from a master of curated Japanese hospitality. Cabo San Lucas, there is only one Pacific Ocean distance from China, and no city is blocked in the middle. This is the longest distance in the world across the sea. The corner of the southernmost tip of Mexico's Baja California can satisfy all my imaginations about the ends of the earth. It is a vow to make a vow here. Take a Water Taxi from Medano Beach to the Lover Beach and have a romantic journey for just 150 pesos.

Insta worthy high-end hotel where you can snap pictures for the price of a drink

JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa is a stunning property. After getting a drink and a bar, we drove around and enjoy the art pieces they have in a public areas and great views of the ocean. Every restaurant has its own vibe and everything is thought through to the tiny details. There are lots of photo opportunities in this hotel. The staff is very friendly and we were very welcomed, even if we stated that we are coming just for a drink. The place was half empty, very relaxed and tranquil. It is quite a drive from Cabo San Lucas, but it's totally worth it. The drive starting past San Jose is beautiful. And given that the area of the hotel is pretty big - this outing easily can be turned into a half day trip. #travelvlog #mexico #loscabos #100waysoftravel

The very best sunset I saw in Cabo

Playa Monumentos it's one of my favorite spots for sunset in Cabo San Lucas. It's a short drive from the town itself, the entrance is right next to The Cape, Thompson, Hotel and by Sunset MonaLisa restaurant. There's usually no people except for a few visitors of the Thompson, hotel and surfers. This place does not have any surfing rental facilities, and it is not for beginners- there are too many underwater rocks, so you need to know what are you doing on the board. But then because they're so few people and it's never crowded and because it's facing the sunset side - this speech is nearly impossible to beat for sunset, walks, and chilled evenings. Hidden beautiful beach in BCS

Absolutely gorgeous beach called Las Viudas that widow's beach is located about 15 minutes drive from Cabo San Lucas. It is a public beach and has all the facilities like shower and toilet in the parking lot. Dogs are not allowed at the beach, and there is no rental facilities, so bring your chairs and umbrella with you. This bitch is quite long and it's a perfect location for a long picnic while listening to the ocean waves. It is not perfect for swimming because there are a lot of rocks. During the high tide, you may dip into the pools that form by rising water. Bring your food, snacks, and water with you because there is no sellers and the nearest store is quite far. #internationaltravel #100waysoftravel #mexico

Best Sunsets at Quivira beach

Private beach at Quivira at the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas is one of the best places to watch sunset. Sun will roll down right into the ocean. The beach is very long itself and perfect for evening strolls. The beach is located right next to the golf course and beautifully made beach club. You cannot swim at this beach due to very strong current and powerful waves.however it is a good option for fishing or simply chilling. Closest beach to Cabo San Lucas, where you can surf

Playa Monumentos is a great spot for surfing. If you know what are you doing cause it's not for the beginners and as well it's a wonderful spot to watch sunset on just to chill. It's never too crowded. It is easy to access from Carlos San Lucas and it takes just a few minutes by taxi. You will have to walk down dusty path that leads down for 3-5 minutes. There is a shower on the toilet facilities at the beach as well as parking lot which may be filled with the cars belong into the nearby hotel. Best secret beach on the Pacific side in Los Cabos

One of the best beaches on the Pacific side in Los Cabos that can be accessed publicly is Diamante beach. It is a very long stretch of sand, that will take you hours to walk. If facing the ocean, you'll turn to the left and walk for about an hour - you'll reach the very end with stunning rock formations. The beach is open for public and there is a public parking 5-7 minutes away from the beach itself.
