Summer Chongqing Tour (4 Days & 3 Nights)
Summer Chongqing Tour (4 Days & 3 Nights)
🌡️First of all, the temperature is around 38 degrees in summer in Chongqing. I went there and it was 42 degrees every day, super high temperature, really hot, pay attention to sun protection!
🚇Transportation is very convenient by subway and taxi
🏨I stayed near Hongyadong, a little distance, very affordable, disposable towels and bath towels, large bed room with balcony, kitchen, washing machine and refrigerator 120
🍲I ate air raid shelter hotpot (picture 7), the taste is good, the dishes are very fresh, but a little small, the aftertaste is a little big, I only felt spicy in my stomach at night
Chongqing Jiang Hu Cai, eaten in Ciqikou Ancient Town, the dishes are very large, also very delicious.
I ate Chongqing Xiao Mian at Bajiao Small Snack Street for 10 yuan a bowl, the taste is good, the one I ate is a little hard.
⚠️3 days are enough for Chongqing tourism
I personally think there is no need to go inside Hongyadong, just wait outside for the lights to come on and take a few photos. It is too commercialized inside, basically all the same shops
It is recommended to buy cultural and creative products at the Three Gorges Museum. There is also a good postal-themed cultural and creative shop in Ciqikou. The cultural and creative products in other places feel like Yiwu small commodities, and every shop sells the same thing
There is no need to go to Luohan Temple, it is very small, very small, just the houses are crowded together and look good. In fact, there is nothing to see. There is really no need to go there
Beichuang Cultural and Creative Park is a big minefield. There is a library inside, but if you say that there is only one small library in the whole cultural and creative park, I think it is unacceptable. I went to a coffee shop and for the first time in my life, I drank a pre-made drink at a coffee shop🥤 (the kind in a cheap plastic bottle)
Ciqikou is also a commercialized ancient town, but not particularly serious. It is still quite leisurely to walk around in it, not bad (picture 8)

It was time for lunch during one of the days of our holiday trip to Chongqing China. Thus, we looked for some place to have our lunch. We went to Ba Yi (81) Road where there were many stalls and restaurants selling food. Perfect place for us. We went to one of the restaurant and feasted on the food in which ordered the likes of hot pot pork da chang, chicken etc. It was delicious.

Chongqing Bayi Food Street: A Culinary Adventure Not to Be Missed!
I had a culinary journey at Chongqing Bayi Food Street that left a lasting impression on me. After ordering Chongqing noodles and some signature skewers, my taste buds were fully satisfied.
Walking along Bayi Food Street, I was struck by the diversity and richness of Chongqing's cuisine. Not only classic Chongqing noodles but also a variety of tasty snacks such as oysters, shrimp paste, pork intestines, spicy hot pot, grilled cold noodles, and more were overwhelming to the senses. From street vendors to restaurants, delicious foods from all over the country converge here, making me fall in love at first taste.
This trip to Chongqing made me fall in love with the city's food culture, with every bite being a delight to the taste buds. Whether it's street food or exquisite dishes, Chongqing has won my heart. I hope to have the opportunity to visit this magically colorful city again and follow the trail of Chongqing's culinary delights. Chongqing Bayi Good Food Street Guide, Jiefangbei Eating Tour Guide, you must read this article if you're going to Chongqing
When it comes to Chongqing, the first thing that comes to mind is hot pot and Chongqing noodles, and many people come to this beautiful mountain city for its distinctive cuisine.
Many people don't know that one must-visit attraction in Chongqing is Bayi Road Good Food Street.
In Chongqing, the Jiefangbei business district is undoubtedly the top destination, and the nearby Bayi Road Good Food Street is also the busiest and most food-diverse snack street. Today, please join Yici and walk into Bayi Good Food Street with us to taste authentic Chongqing snacks.
◆ Maliss Fried Skewers
Great value for money, most fried skewers are 10 yuan for 3. Yici prefers to eat tenderloin, which after frying, you can dip in chili powder on the side, it's especially fragrant and not spicy at all.
◆ Master Bao's Pastries
Located at the very beginning of the food street, there are always many people in line. Emphasize this point, there is only one Master Bao's in Chongqing, with no other branches, so it's worth the wait. The pork floss little buns are really unbeatable in taste, for those who like the classic pork floss and matcha flavor, the crispy pork floss on the surface is a must-try!
◆ Mountain City Small Soup Dumplings
Just for the looks, the sisters also think it's worth it. The ingredients are particularly generous, and those who like sticky treats must buy a bowl, with small dumplings on top and a layer of shaved ice below. 20 yuan for a bowl in summer is really satisfying.
◆ Ghost Buns
They are a non-material cultural heritage. Freshly baked ones are especially delicious, the meat filling is fatty but not greasy. The 'sauce meat bun' that squirts juice is a favorite of many, with thick meat sauce. If you prefer something lighter, try the fresh meat bun, it's also very good.
◆ Ghost Crispy Meat
A Chongqing specialty crispy meat, especially large pieces, with Sichuan pepper on the batter, very numbing. Freshly fried is very fragrant, and the meat is solid. In addition, they also have garlic spareribs, which are also great to gnaw on.
◆ Fat Mama's Authentic Saltwater Duck
It's an old Chongqing brand, an essential dish on Chongqing people's New Year's Eve dinner table. Their most famous offerings are various saltwater skewers, duck feet, duck gizzards, duck tongues, and goose wings. The taste is slightly salty, and the oil and Sichuan pepper powder dipped inside are particularly fragrant.
◆ Good Again Signature Hot and Sour Noodles
10 yuan a bowl, moderately priced. They give a lot of ingredients, including peanuts, spicy shell, mixed sauce, and the noodles are quite bouncy, making it the only non-commercialized hot and sour noodles on the food street.
Besides hot and sour noodles, there are also tofu pudding, cold noodles, cold jelly, cold cakes, etc., all at a relatively low price. Have a bowl to experience the taste of the locals' childhood.
◆ A Yogurt Cow
Considered one of the more popular drinks on the food street, you can see a store every few steps. The purple rice inside is soft and sticky, and sisters who like yogurt must buy a cup to try.
In addition to the food recommended by Yici, there are many other snacks here: dried tofu and sweet potato skin, finger shengjian buns, durian cheese cake, sugar oil fruit, bursting tofu, ice jelly, spicy broad beans, small glutinous rice cakes, roasted pig's trotters... all quite delicious, recommended to everyone!

Bayi Road in Chongqing is a famous food street, known for its collection of specialty delicacies
Chongqing Bayi Food Street is a well-known snack street located in the heart of Chongqing's most bustling Jiefangbei commercial district, bringing together many authentic Chongqing specialty foods.
📍Address: No. 176 Bayi Road, Jiefangbei Street, Yuzhong District, about 100 meters from Jiefangbei.
🚇Subway: Take the rail transit to Xiaoshizi Station, and you can reach the destination on foot after exiting the station.
⏰Business Hours: Generally from 09:00 to 23:00.
There are many types of snacks here, such as spicy and sour noodles, stinky tofu, mountain city sweet dumplings, Sichuan-style wontons, pig's trotters, pan-fried buns, boneless chicken feet, marinated duck, and so on. There are too many delicious options to count.
Among them, Hao You Lai spicy and sour noodles and Gao Pin Dingjia Slope potatoes are quite popular, and you must queue up every time you visit. I also really like the salted duck, and every time I come, I buy hundreds of yuan worth of duck products. There's also the special spicy and sour noodles, which are a traditional Chongqing snack. Made with sweet potato noodles paired with a specially made spicy and sour soup base and rich seasonings, the flavor is very tangy and appetizing.
Bayi Food Street is extremely popular, with many people visiting every day, regardless of the season, especially during meal times. Therefore, it's better to avoid peak meal times for a better snacking experience.

Mountain city markets, unique in their own way
The Liberation Monument in Chongqing and the Bayi Square, like two dazzling pearls, are inlaid upon the land of Sichuan and Chongqing.
During the day, the towering Liberation Monument stands tall, witnessing the prosperity and vitality of this city. Strolling through Bayi Square, one feels the sediment of history and the breath of the era. The sunlight sprinkles on the square, making everything seem so peaceful and beautiful.
When night falls, the lights of the Liberation Monument and Bayi Square are lit up, with neon flickering, decorating the city's night sky like a dream. The brilliant lights and the bustling crowd reflect each other, forming a beautiful night scene that is too good to be true.
The authentic Sichuan and Chongqing cuisine is even more unforgettable. The spicy hot pot, the fresh skewers, the spicy and fragrant Sichuan dishes, each bite is intoxicating. Accompanied by delicious food, one feels the unique charm of Sichuan and Chongqing, a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes.

Three-day and three-night Chongqing travel guide~
Three-day and three-night Chongqing travel guide~
I've been wanting to go to Chongqing since last year
Finally, I had the time this year
We went for three days
Today, I will introduce the travel route to everyone
For hotels, I suggest booking one near Jiefangbei
There are many attractions nearby and the distances are very short, which is convenient!
The prices are mostly around a hundred or more!!
We arrived in Chongqing the night before
Extreme first day
We went to Jiefangbei to check in - Bayi Snack Street (had breakfast) - took a taxi to Eling Park - Eling Second Factory - Liziba (there's a small yellow building and a cultural site nearby) - Mountain City Trail (had hot pot in a nearby neighborhood) - Shiba Ti - night view of Hongya Cave (had Chongqing noodles)
For places that are close by, you can just walk 🚶
For farther places, you can take a taxi 🚗
The subway routes are quite convoluted
It might be confusing for out-of-towners
So taking a taxi is very convenient and not expensive
The first day was quite tiring, slept until noon
So the second day's itinerary was more relaxed
Went to Guanyinqiao (had intestine rice at the snack street and bought some snacks) - checked in 'I am in Chongqing' - Beicheng Tianjie - Beicang Li - People's Great Hall - had intestine chicken for dinner - went to the Grand Theatre to see Chongqing's night view 🌃
The plane was on the evening of the third day
Left the house late in the day
Checked in at White Elephant Residence, the residential building felt very special 👍 - had lunch at White Elephant Street, tried their pig's trotters and other specialty dishes - returned the same way to Hu Guang Guild Hall, very photogenic - passed by the bridge, opposite is Longmenhao Old Street, a popular check-in spot - next to it is Tiaozishi Old Street - finally went back to the hot pot near Jiefangbei where we stayed, the taste was top-notch - bought Chongqing specialties
There were still many places we didn't get to visit
If you have enough time, you can go to farther places to explore
Most of Chongqing's attractions are free
The few that charge are not expensive, just tens of yuan
And Chongqing's food is really good!
In summary, the roads are quite winding, so when making a travel plan, be sure to look carefully at the routes
Otherwise, you'll keep walking the wrong way
Navigation always takes the main roads
You can ask the locals
Basically, there are signs inside the small roads, which are quite convenient
For hot pot, you must go to the alleys
Authentic and delicious 👍
Don't eat in the commercial areas
Chongqing is great but it's tough on the legs
Be sure to prepare a pair of comfortable sports shoes!!!!
Hahahahaha
I feel like there's still a lot we didn't get to visit
Next time I'll go again!!!!!!
First time was for checking in
Next time will be for eating, eating, eating!!!

You always have to find time for a trip
On the first day, visit Jiefangbei, Raffles City, Chaotianmen, Hongya Cave, and Dajia Alley for hotpot, then wait for the night view on Qiansimen Bridge, hitting all the tourist spots.
On the second day, take a trip on the Liangjiang Ferry, the Yangtze River Cableway, and visit the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, which is full of amazing things. I couldn't even leave because there was so much to see, and my feet were so tired that I had to take a taxi back.
On the third day, check in at the zoo. Is the Chongqing Zoo covering an entire mountain? It's endless, and I didn't finish it all. Today at the zoo, I found including the four 'Xiwanzis', Liang Yue, and the twin stars Xingxing and Chenchen... It was so satisfying, and I even saw the four 'Xiwanzis' playing mahjong . Another day of tired feet, back to the hotel.
On the fourth day, I got up quietly by myself, checked in at Baxiangju, experienced the path Wang Junkai walked, took photos of the 24th floor without an elevator, the Yangtze River Cableway passing through buildings, and then took the kids to Liziba. The best photo spot was crowded, but I'm not one of them, I don't take the usual path. I climbed over mountains to get to Eling Er Factory, not just tired feet, but my knees were hurting, I couldn't climb up... I had to take a taxi back.
On the fifth day, pack up and head home, the kids are missing their mom. Got up early for a walk to Kuixing Tower, it's a bit rainy today, and the temperature feels low. The platform of Kuixing Tower is full of people passing by in a hurry, and there are few tourists, making it a good time for photos.
The five or six days in Chongqing, the sun 🌞 has been playing hide and seek with us, not showing its face at all. If the sun had come out, I believe every photo would have been a unique and beautiful piece, what a pity. Chongqing is big, and there are many more places I want to visit, like Baiheliang, the 816 Project, Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges, Fairy Mountain, Nanhu, and Jinfo Mountain. I believe there will be another chance to come back and visit the places I haven't been to yet.

I often travel in cities and outdoors, always recording the beautiful moments. I've been using the Telecom Mountain City card, with 100G of data every month, always ready to share the scenery with family and friends. The transmission speed is not affected in the mountains or some old residential areas, video calls with family and friends are very smooth, and photo transfers are very fast~
