Mount Watzmann
Mount Watzmann, is one of the most iconic mountains in the Berchtesgaden Alps, located in southeastern Germany near the border with Austria. It is the third highest mountain in Germany, with its main peak (Watzmann-Mittelspitze) reaching an elevation of 2,713 meters (8,901 feet). The Watzmann massif is made up of several peaks, the most prominent being the Mittelspitze (middle peak), Südspitze (southern peak), and Hocheck (the northernmost peak). The Watzmann is known for its striking pyramid-like appearance and is often depicted in many landscape photographs and paintings of the region. One of the most famous features of Watzmann is the "Watzmannfrau" (Watzmann's wife) and the "Watzmannkinder" (Watzmann's children), which are peaks to the west that are said to resemble a woman lying down with her children, according to local legend. The area around the Watzmann is popular for hiking, mountaineering, and alpine skiing, especially in the Berchtesgaden National Park, which surrounds the massif. The Watzmann's east face, one of the highest in the Eastern Alps, is a significant challenge for experienced climbers. The nearby Königssee, a beautiful alpine lake, enhances the region's natural beauty, making it a well-known destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Berchtesgaden National Park: Mountain and Lake Tour, Better for Lakeside Photos
Visiting Berchtesgaden National Park definitely means hiking. If you only hike the section around Königssee Upper Lake, it takes about an hour and a half. Some parts of the trail are not very easy to walk, so it's recommended to wear sneakers and pants. However, the scenery along the way is beautiful, with mountains and lakes. At the farthest point of the Upper Lake area, you can even see a waterfall. But personally, I don't recommend this waterfall; it's too small and not very impressive. It's better to spend more time taking photos by the lake.

Berchtesgaden
Berchtesgaden National Park (Nationalpark Berchtesgaden) was established in 1978 and is located in the southeastern part of Bavaria, Germany. It is one of the earliest protected areas in the Alpine region of Germany. The park features natural landscapes, including the crystal-clear and emerald-green Königssee and Germany's second-highest peak, Watzmann, which are among the most proud scenic spots for Germans. Berchtesgaden is also famous for Hitler's 'Eagle's Nest.'

Minimum output maximum reward. About an hour hike up and the views is amazing.
Stop by St Bartholomä station and follow the signs to Eiskapelle.
Don’t do beyond the warning signs, I’ve seem a mini avalanche with my own eyes.
