Blue Lagoon Iceland 🗺️
#hotsprings
Visiting the Blue Lagoon in Iceland was an absolutely surreal experience! 🌋💧 Located in a lava field near Grindavík and only about a 45-minute drive from Reykjavík, this geothermal spa is like stepping into another world. The milky-blue water is so warm and soothing, even on a chilly Icelandic day. Entry wasn’t cheap – around 9,990 ISK (about $70), but it was totally worth it for the relaxation and unique experience. The water is rich in minerals like silica and sulfur, which made my skin feel so soft and rejuvenated. 🌿💦
One of the coolest parts was the silica mud mask that’s included with the basic entry. Just slathering it on my face while floating in the warm water, surrounded by steam and the volcanic landscape, felt like pure luxury. The whole spa has a very modern design, with an outdoor bar where you can get a drink and just chill in the water. There are even caves and bridges to explore, making it feel like an adventure and a spa day all rolled into one.
After my soak, I checked out the nearby attractions. The Reykjanes Peninsula has some fantastic geothermal areas to explore, like the Gunnuhver Hot Springs, which are only a short drive away. 🌋 Plus, the iconic Fagradalsfjall volcano is not too far if you’re in the mood for a hike and some breathtaking views of recent lava flows.
The Blue Lagoon was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Iceland’s incredible landscapes. If you’re planning a trip to Iceland, this is a must-visit spot for sure! 🏞️ #trip #BlueLagoonIceland #GeothermalSpa #IcelandAdventures #ReykjavikDayTrip #TravelBliss

Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik, Iceland
A great place to go for your spa in the cold weather winter. There is a locker to store your belongings and there is shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower 🚿 area . Pretty well organized in crowds and in out of the spa area.
Comfort Package comes with a face mud mask and a drink of your choice and a towel for bathing.
Beautiful sunset with a glass of wine in a hot spa...☺️🫠 relaxing.

The amazing Blue Lagoon
I love going to hot springs. It's so relaxing and cleansing. The Blue Lagoon in Iceland might just be the most famous hot spring in the world, and certainly the biggest tourist attraction in Iceland.
Not only the water is said to be beneficial for your health, but also the mud, so feel free to spread it all over your skin. Beware though that this place is extr popular, so you had better book in advanced. For those who don't have access to a car, you can also book transportation to the city on a shuttle bus.
Entry: from 8490 Icelandic Kroner
Opening times: Daily from 9am to 9pm.

Tenderness of Iceland - Blue Lagoon
📍The Blue Lagoon is located on an extinct volcano near Grindavik, there are many beneficial minerals at the bottom of the hot spring pool, so the hot spring mud is good for beauty. If you are lucky enough, you can also dig into the white-hot spring mud.
👛Although the Blue Lagoon is open all year round, there are limited on-site ticket purchases and there will be insufficient tickets. Therefore, it is recommended to book tickets a few weeks in advance to ensure that you can go to the hot springs smoothly. Once you pick the ticket, you will also get some beauty samples together, which can be used after the spa.
🚐On the way to the Blue Lagoon, you will also pass by the Golden Waterfall. You can feel the differences of Golden Waterfall between summer and winter. The whole world is white. Finally, remind friends that you must keep warm if you would love to have a nice trip to Iceland!

When it comes to beautiful countries around the world, nordic countries hold a special place in my heart. Although my stay in Iceland was a short one because of business reasons, it was a life time experience that the memories remain fresh & green forever. I travelled to Reykjavik stayed there for 3 days, then travelled to even less touristy place and a sort of isolated place called Selfoss. It is more a agricultural town and the local economy bloomed because of a bridge constructed before WWII. This bridge is so important that the British troops guarded this bridge during WWII. Also it's believed that here is the first man settled in Iceland (not sure on the information credibility). Later I enjoyed the very famous geysers along with hot springs. I too booked with a tour group for Blue Lagoon day trip. Iceland is such a mesmerizing land. #urbanexplorer #leaveyourmark #nordictravel #iceland

Many people ask me what I like the most about Iceland. It’s a tough one but I must say the best part is all the hot springs. After a day outside in nature there’s nothing better than a hot spring in the open air, drinking a beer and just enjoying the views :)
iceland has so many of these and I have explored far from all of them. Before you visit google hot springs for the area you will be going to so you know your options.
Some require a small payment (€10) so bring some cash, swim wear and a towel.

It ’s still daylight when I ’m traveling around the island, but it ’s actually 9 or 10 o’clock, plus the freedom of self-driving time, the play time is very long, and I made a profit At the edge of the circle, the latitude is high, and it is especially cold when it rains. We all use charge jackets, sweaters, and heating.

If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, go to the end of the world. Iceland Iceland is perhaps the quietest and purest place in the world. 💜Iceland is close to the Arctic Circle. The capital, Reykjavik, is the most latituded capital in the world. Iceland has polar days in winter and polar nights in winter. It is also the only country in the world that can see aurora.🤩

Iceland Hot Spring Recommendation: Blue Lagoon Hot Spring! Super Relaxing Soak! Face Mask Experience!
The Blue Lagoon Hot Spring in Iceland is a popular geothermal hot spring. The water in the Blue Lagoon is rich in minerals, making the soak feel very relaxing! The light milky blue water is very attractive, and there is a misty feel above the water! Inside the Blue Lagoon Hot Spring, they offer alcoholic beverages and face mask experiences! There is a beer dispenser at the alcohol counter, making it convenient for visitors to enjoy a drink while soaking in the hot spring! Additionally, the face masks include different types of mud, each with different effects! This time, I tried the Mineral Mask, which is very hydrating! Overall, I highly recommend this hot spring!

The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is an otherworldly experience that perfectly contrasting the island's rugged cold landscape with the warmth of its geothermal waters. As we step into the milky blue lagoon, the frigid air immediately fades away, replaced by the soothing heat of the mineral rich water, typically around 37-39 degree Celcius. Surrounded by snow capped lava fields, the feeling of soaking in such warmth while icy winds blow is both surreal and exhilarating.
One of the best highlights is the lagoon's famous silica mud mask, which you can apply as a rejuvenating face spa treatment. The coolness of the mask on your skin, combined with the hot water and fresh air, creates a sensation that's both refreshing and deeply relaxing.
The Blue Lagoon is not just about physical relaxation, it's a sensory experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, ready to take on Iceland's wild adventures. Conclusion is Blue Lagoon is a must-do!

The Bandier Blue Lake is incredibly photogenic
There's a kind of healing called Bandier Blue Lake.
There's a kind of blue called Bandier Blue.
Originally a river, the Bandier Blue Lake was turned into a reservoir for water storage. The lake water, being glacial meltwater, appears blue due to special minerals.
Generally, the Bandier Blue Lake is turquoise in summer and deep blue in winter. However, the color of the lake changes with different weather, times, seasons, and lighting, sometimes appearing deep blue or light blue. When there's no wind, the lake surface perfectly reflects the mountains on both sides, creating a stunning view.
Location: Navigate to Bandier Township and choose the route to Vacha Township.
Travel TIPS:
1. Bandier Blue Lake is free to visit. The signal is quite weak on the way, so it's best to download the map in advance or keep the navigation on.
2. If you have a drone, taking aerial shots from the bridge is highly recommended for great photos.
3. Whether the lake is blue or reflects the surroundings depends on the weather and natural wind. When we went, the lake surface was as clean as a mirror, perfectly reflecting the mountains on both sides, which was very impressive.
4. If you come in autumn or winter, make sure to check if the Panlong Ancient Trail is open. If the Panlong Ancient Trail is closed, you cannot reach Bandier Blue Lake.
Overall, if you go to the Panlong Ancient Trail, you definitely shouldn't miss Bandier Blue Lake, as it's very close. Moreover, the lake surface really varies with the weather. When we visited, the lake was as clear as a mirror, but upon closer inspection, the water was a distinct emerald green. Since we didn't have a drone, we couldn't capture the aerial view of the bridge complementing the blue lake.

🎈Iceland Ten Days Nine Nights Travel Guide🎈
👫Together with my six adorable friends, we embarked on a dreamy journey to Iceland!
✨Day1: Upon arrival in Iceland, we were instantly captivated by its unique atmosphere!
📍Hat Mountain: Wow, this place is just too cool! The mountain peaks and lakes, combined with the aurora, are simply breathtaking. The seven of us couldn't stop taking crazy photos.
📍Blue Ice Cave: This is truly a magical masterpiece of nature! It's like entering another world, with ice columns and stalactites that are absolutely stunning. I felt like a curious baby, touching and looking around.
📍Blue Lagoon: Wow, soaking in it is so comfortable I almost fell asleep, with the steamy sensation like being surrounded by fairies!
📍Selfoss: The aurora in this town made us cry with its beauty. The moment we saw it, we all shed tears without fighting them, truly moved!
📍Raufarhfn Village: The stone circle there is so interesting, and paired with the aurora, it's absolutely fantastic!
📝Aurora Photography Tips:
🎯Make sure to check the weather forecast and aurora forecast in advance, choosing the right time is very important!
🎯Find a place with little light pollution in the wilderness, only in complete darkness can you capture the aurora at its most beautiful!
🎯Prepare your camera, tripod, and remote control, and don't forget to keep warm and windproof, don't freeze yourself into an ice sculpture!
🎯The most important thing is to pay attention to safety, don't run around, or it would be troublesome if you get lost!
In summary, this ten-day and nine-night journey to Iceland is an unforgettable experience for the seven of us! 💖Iceland, we will come back again! 😘
