Cascade is a giant stairway in Yerevan which links the downtown area with the Monument neighborhood. The construction started in 1971 and partly completed in around 10 years. There is Gafesjian Museum of Art inside the complex. There are exhibition halls inside the Museum where you can visit both permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Besides exterior steps, there are also escalators rising along the length of the complex.
Outside of the complex there is a garden where sculptures of contemporary artists are presented.
There are number of cafes and restaurants alongside the complex.
This is one of the favorite spots both for locals and tourists in Yerevan.
