Do not buy the red fruits commonly found on the roadside, they are all soaked in dye.
For authentic Chongqing snacks like Tiaopi Bean Curd and Xiaomian, don't go to Delicious Street, eating under the residential buildings at roadside stalls is the real deal. 🍜
If you get lost on the road, you can ask local young people for directions. 🗺
Recently, Chongqing has warmed up, you can wear long sleeves + coat during the day, but it is recommended to wear a sweater at night due to the large temperature difference between day and night. 🌞🌙
🎒 Remember to prepare your luggage, the journey to Chongqing awaits you! 🚀

The Chongqing Zoo and Dinosaur Park
The Chongqing zoo is located in the southern part of the city in Jiulongpo District. You can take the subway to the zoo by riding Line 2 and getting off at the Chongqing Zoo station.
The zoo has an extensive dinosaur exhibit that includes several interactive experiences! My son got to “ride” a dinosaur which he thought was the coolest thing ever!
The zoo is massive, covering over 110 acres of land so be prepared to walk! There are many stairs and in some cases you will need to walk up 5 or more flights to get to certain exhibits.
Our favorite exhibit was by far the Panda enclosure! The pandas were very active and the way the enclosure is set up it’s impossible to have a bad view!
The Chongqing Zoo is a great family friendly day excursion if you are visiting Chongqing!

Get to know PANDAS 😍
Getting There - by subway, Zoo subway station, line 2
Attractions - In this zoo you can see different animals but the most important you can see many pandas. They built big gardens for them and houses where they can hide during the hot day. I was there during their lunch time and it was really interesting. They have more than ten pandas so you can choose which one do you want to observe. #unforgettableexperiences #scenicspotguide #pandas #zoos ##chongqing

Chongqing Zoo is free of charge.
There are many animals you have never seen before and animal shows. The zoo has many different kinds of animals, including tigers, lions, giraffes, elephants, pandas, and more. In addition, the zoo often holds animal shows, such as dolphin shows and bird shows, which allow people to get closer to and learn more about animals. Of course, we should respect the rights of animals and not treat them as toys or entertainment tools, so that they can live freely.

Chongqing Zoo
Another must-visit spot in Chongqing if you have time. You can see a lot of pandas and red pandas. The area is well-organized, but it might be hilly as is typical for Chongqing. You can get a close look at the animals. It's easy to get there by taking the green line, the same route as the train that goes through the building. Just a bit further, and you can manage your trip well. The entrance fee is 25 yuan, which is quite affordable. You should plan to spend at least 3 hours there to avoid rushing, but be prepared for some uphill walking.

Chongqing Family Travel: A Relaxing City Adventure.
Hand in hand with our children, we embarked on a relaxing journey designed for families in downtown Chongqing. A pre-booked private car became our convenient tool for exploring the essence of the city, taking us directly to each exciting attraction, saving time and reducing physical exertion.
Starting Point: The Marvelous Sight of Liziba Light Rail Passing Through a Building
As dawn broke, we headed straight for the marvelous sight of Liziba Light Rail passing through a building, which is a hot topic on the internet. The light rail shuttles between buildings, like a scene from a sci-fi movie, sparking infinite curiosity in the children about this wonderful world.
Happy Time: A Wonderful Encounter at Chongqing Zoo
Next, we drove to the vibrant animal world and had close contact with the cute and adorable pandas. Every corner of the zoo is filled with the laughter of children, becoming the source of their happy memories.
Creative World: A Colorful Feast at Graffiti Art Street
After lunch, we walked into a vibrant street where every wall is painted with colorful stories, stimulating the children's imagination and creativity. With a paintbrush in hand, they left their dreamy creations on this street.
Knowledge Exploration: A Historical Journey at Three Gorges Museum
The nourishment of cultural knowledge is equally important. We visited the Three Gorges Museum and let the long river of history slowly flow before our eyes. Interactive exhibitions make learning lively and interesting, and children continue to gain knowledge through exploration.
Time Fusion: The History and Modernity of the People's Auditorium
The heaviness of history and the brilliance of modernity intersect here. The People's Auditorium, with its unique charm, shows us the changes and development of the city, allowing children to understand the depth of time.
Urban Prosperity: The Vibrant Experience of Jiefangbei Business District
Walking in the Jiefangbei Business District, prosperity and vitality are intertwined into a picture of urban life. Here, children feel the pulse of Chongqing and experience the city's vitality and enthusiasm.
Food Paradise: A Taste Journey at Bayi Good Food Street
As the sun sets, it's time for the taste buds to take a journey. Hot and sour rice noodles, small noodles, skewers... Authentic Chongqing snacks are served in turn, making children fall in love with the taste of this city.
Dreamy End: The Night View of Hongyadong and Raffles City
As night falls, we strolled to Hongyadong. In the brilliant lights, it seems to have stepped into the dream world of the animated film "Spirited Away". Ascending to the observation deck of Raffles City, the magnificent view of the confluence of the two rivers is unobstructed, drawing a perfect end to this parent-child trip.

Chongqing Zoo, a must-visit N times | The pandas are so cute~
| The pandas are so cute~. Chongqing Zoo, a must-visit N times | The pandas are so cute~
Chongqing Zoo is really big, you can find almost all kinds of animals there.
But we mainly went to see the pandas. Although the panda pavilion is not the biggest, there are still many pandas.
Because it was summer, there were already a lot of people in the afternoon.
Actually, I was a bit worried at first, afraid they wouldn't let us in, but it turned out we could go in directly.
If you want to see more animals, you must go early, and it's best to buy tickets in advance, otherwise, you will have to wait in line for a long time. A sightseeing car is available inside for round trips.
1. Sightseeing car stops: (1) Ticket office entrance; (2) Pedestrian path entrance; (3) Pedestrian path end; (4) Children's playground exit; (5) Near the visitor center; (6) Small train starting point.
2. Car departure time: every 15 minutes from 9:00~11:00 in the morning and 14:00~17:00 in the afternoon.
Each trip takes about 10~15 minutes.
3. The sick giant pandas eat and sleep, and when they wake up, they wander around,
there is no fixed place, they rest wherever they see fit, they like to sleep lying down, very cute.

Chongqing | Check in with the National Treasure—Panda Babies | Chongqing Zoo, you sure had a fun time!
When in Chongqing, you must visit the national treasure—panda babies; here's a recommended guide for visiting Chongqing Zoo:
Chongqing Zoo highly recommends the Panda Pavilion, which houses 22 pandas, the most of any zoo in the country. Pandas really can cure everything, with their fluffy black ears, dark limbs, large and short tails, and their round, chubby bodies, they look incredibly adorable and cute.
Chongqing Zoo is located in Xijiao Village, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, a national 4A level scenic spot. The pandas are endearingly clumsy and extremely cute, with both big and tiny ones that instantly melt your heart. Observing the giant pandas' living conditions up close is very interesting; it's suitable for family outings, an excellent place for walking with kids, and a weekend fun destination for Chongqing residents. It's great for bringing children to learn some scientific knowledge, making it an ideal place for family trips.
Detailed address: No. 1, Xijiao Village, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing
Transportation strategy: Convenient public transportation, parking available for self-driving
||.
The Chongqing Zoo is already full of tulips🌷
Right after entering through the East Second Gate of the zoo, there is a large area of flowers, with all kinds of colors~
-
🌟Best time for photography: 08:00-10:00; 16:00-17:00
Avoid the high traffic of people at noon and in the afternoon. The zoo is the least crowded right after opening in the morning and before closing in the afternoon, providing a clean background that makes for great photos
-
🌟Outfit suggestions: The overall temperature in Chongqing is not very high right now, so it's recommended to wear a nice light-colored inner layer plus a jacket. Take photos with the jacket on alongside the small animals, and with the inner layer among the flowers, allowing you to get two sets of photos in one go

Just in time for the blooming season, the zoo is brimming with vibrant life 🌷
You can see animals and also enjoy the tulips, making the 25 yuan ticket a great value!
I went on a weekday, and there weren't too many visitors, not enough to queue for entry
📍Chongqing Zoo (Southeast Gate 1)
🚗Self-driving: Navigate to the Jiu Long Pearl underground parking garage, about 200m from the main entrance, the fork in the road is right below the light rail station (I've put the picture at the end, the zoo's above-ground parking lot is usually full, and there are many aunties around the zoo charging for parking guidance, I didn't even dare to roll down the car windows)
🚇Light Rail: Line 2 to Zoo Station, Exit 1, walk about 200m
🎫Ticket: Adult ticket 25 yuan
Children, students, and seniors half price
Children under 1.2m free
⏰Opening hours: 8:00-18:00
Best visiting route:

Tour guide:
1⃣️It is recommended to enter through the 【East Gate 2】, where you'll find many 【tulips🌷】 to take photos of! After taking photos, go see the small animals
(But at 【East Gate 1⃣️】 you don't have to queue)
2⃣️Follow the flowers to the Panda Garden
Our adorable national treasures are always the kings of popularity, surrounded by tourists,
It's suggested to visit in the afternoon or earlier, as they nap at noon, and you'll only see a bunch of oddly sleeping cuties~
3⃣️Inside there are goldfish, cranes, various sizes of 🐍, giraffes🦒, zebras🦓, llamas🦙, kangaroos🦘, hippos🦛, elk, antelopes...
It's recommended to see these before going to see the tigers🐯 separately
4⃣️Tiger Garden
There is a South China tiger and two white tigers, the South China tiger even provocatively teased the white tigers haha, showing off their loud voices... such a huge sound! Is this the Tiger King haha, luckily they are separated by fences, otherwise, they might start fighting!
5⃣️Black Bears
There are two bear spouses, haha very greedy, with bad stomachs, they will sit and look up to beg visitors for food!!! They also wave 👋, kind of like greeting for the New Year haha, all for food, 👍 but they are bears after all... (Visitors should not feed the animals randomly)
-
The water and food inside are a bit expensive, it's recommended to bring your own, usually, it takes more than three hours to tour the entire place!!
-
It's crowded recently, we went at 11 am and it was already very busy, it's advised to avoid peak times, otherwise, it will be overcrowded
📷About photography:
1⃣️The large field of tulips at the entrance is very photogenic
2⃣️Panda Pavilion to take cute panda🐼 photos
3⃣️Goldfish Pavilion to take photos with goldfish across the fish tank
