This temple which is easily accessible from Bagan ( by taxi, Tuk Tuk or E-bike) is one the largest in Bagan. It is large pyramid like structure visible from far. It has an interesting past - the king who built the temple came to power by assassinating his father and elder brother. He later also killed his Bengali queen, whose father sent mercenaries and had him killed. #GiveThanks

Super-popping Bagan Stupa, large harvester
Bagan in September is really hot, what makes us insist on walking barefoot on the hot floor? It is a love for photography! Bagan is hundreds of thousands of stupas, and its so beautiful to take pictures! It is characterized by severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the internal structure of various symmetrical pagodas can be instantly cured!
The most popular are Dhammayan Gyi Temple and Ananda Temple, especially Dhammayan Gyi Temple, we even met photographers from abroad, with models Come here to take a wedding! Of course, we have been filming here for a few hours and still have not done it!
tips: There are a lot of Bagan stupas. If you are a little bigger, you need tickets. You can choose the stupa according to your needs! In addition, the Burmese government has now banned the climbing of the stupa, because many pagodas are faltering after the earthquake, and there are incidents of casualties at the top of the stupa. Therefore, everyone is safe!

Dhammayangyi temple 🇲🇲
#photolocation
Dhammayangyi Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Bagan, Myanmar. 🇲🇲 Largest of all the temples in Bagan, the Dhammayan as it is popularly known was built during the reign of King Narathu.
The temple is a massive, and all walled surrounded in forth and the temple is constructed since from 12th century. The temple is about 1600ft east of Shwesandaw and is infamous for its mysterious, bricked-up inner passageways and cruel history.
The king Narathu claimed the succession of Bagan throne by murdering his own king father and his elder brother, who had been chosen to become King, in cold blood.
Legend had it that the King felt guilty for what he did and was so worried about bad karma that he had the Dhammayangyi Temple constructed to gain merit and redeem for the sin of killing his father and elder brother.
According to legendary tales, King Narathu supervised the construction himself. He set the rule that workers would have their arms chopped or even be beheaded if they the brickworks were not perfectly fit without a gap between two given bricks.
This temple is a must visit in Bagan and popular for its history and inner temple architecture.

Sitting in a small carriage, Bagan
there is a small carriage everywhere in Bagan, because Bagan's road is not good, more is a country road, there is no sign, it is not convenient to rent a motorcycle, it is recommended to rent A carriage, the master of the carriage is too familiar with the various stupa, and can tell you the best photo position, absolutely a professional guide + driver.

Dama Yangji, a huge Mayan pyramid building, the most visible building on the Bagan Plain. When you lose your way in the wilderness of Bagan, you can find the right path by looking up at Dama Yangji.
Dama Yangji seems to be a cursed stupa. Whether it is the purpose of construction, or the commander and the builder, most of them are not hospice. Although it has never been completed, it is closely structured and has been almost unscathed in previous earthquakes. Dama Yangji is destined to have a sad and incomplete beauty, but this beauty has been protected by the gods in the midst of it, and has not changed.
Into the Dama Yangji, the cloister of the long atmosphere is addictive. The pigeons hid among the tall beams and flew over the tops of people's heads from time to time, making a squeaky voice, an inexplicable uneasiness. Light passes through the window, reflected in the mottled walls and the ground, and the light and shadow are charming.
I walked from the shadow to the light, and the brightest part of the light, like a tunnel to another time and space.

Enjoy the days in Bagan, Myanmar, the red-red stupa stands in the plains, and the city looks old and distant...
Dama Yangji Temple is the largest pagoda in the Bagan Plain, with a pointed tower top, like the pole The Mayan pyramids of South America are generally. The old red-brown brick walls, the high-definition windows, and the footsteps of the corridors rang back and forth.
I like the ancient temples of Bagan. Although walking barefoot, I am used to the collision of skin and sand. On the day of coming here, there were just Burmese students who went on an outing here and saw their innocent smiles and truly felt the purity of the Buddha. Not only tourists, but even the puppies sleeping in the Buddhist temple, lazy and quiet, the noise of the outside world can not disturb their lunch break. There are also many embroidery paintings here, and behind the needlework is a beautiful landscape of Myanmar.
