The most beautiful ginkgo village in Zhejiang, home to over 1,300 ancient ginkgo trees
In Zhejiang, there is a stunning village called Lingshanwu Village. Now in autumn, the ginkgo trees cover the valley, as if you have stepped into a peaceful and beautiful autumn painting!
Lingshanwu Village in Zhejiang covers an area of about 3.58 square kilometers, with more than 200 acres of ginkgo forest, 80% of which are ancient trees over a hundred years old. In December 2019, it was recognized as a National Forest Village. In 2022, the town it belongs to was awarded the title of the only National Geological Culture Town in Zhejiang Province. Since hosting the first Ginkgo Festival in 2012, it has gradually developed into a distinctive tourism brand!
When you arrive at Lingshanwu Village, you can admire the naturally growing ginkgo trees [the distribution of ginkgo trees throughout the village is actually irregular]. Although you may not see the dazzling sight of the entire mountain covered in golden leaves, you can enjoy the charm of the late autumn drizzle!
To start your visit, you can hike up the mountain to see the "ginkgo forest," visit the ginkgo park, and enjoy camping, picnics, barbecues, hot pot, and tea brewing around the fire, making it both picturesque and fun!
The best viewing period is from mid to late November to mid to late December.
The most important thing is, it’s free to visit!
