There is a 3 mile out and back trail，which takes you through Lopez Canyon, a small offshoot of the more heavily traveled Los Penasquitos Canyon. This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and walking. It may take around an hour and half to complete. Great hike in both directions with fantastic views at the top paired with a fast, swooping descent. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
