Coming here is an incredible experience for you and your family especially if you have kids with you. the exhibits are highly interactive and entertaining and on top of that educational. Plan your visit well if you have 3 or moe hours then do so because there are plenty to see and plenty to learn. Very intersting and highly recommended. Amazing museum 🤩 Different kind of interest you can find here🥳. It is suitable for child and adult! Various game related to science also can be played! The most important thing in this museum was Dolly 🐑. Dolly has been on display at the National Museum Scothland since 2003 thanks to Roslin Institude! | Mysterious ancient city of Edinburgh guide. I went in July and it felt like walking into an ancient castle, mysterious and melancholy. Every time you go up or down a flight of stairs, it's like entering another world, like walking in a movie world, a bit magical🧸 ✨I stayed in Edinburgh for three days and two nights, and had plenty of time to stroll around this mysterious ancient castle. ✨The ancient castle in the continuous rain, finally cleared up on the last day, and I was fortunate to see two different views of Edinburgh. Edinburgh in the summer is full of tourists, the weather is cool, and you can encounter various street performances wherever you go. The audience often participates in them, and it's a joyous moment for everyone! I would like to call the Scottish Museum another museum that shocked me after the British Museum! Various exquisite collections are displayed in the super large exhibition hall, and unexpectedly, there are a large number of our national treasures that have been stolen. In addition to traditional collections, there are also many venues reflecting technological development, humanities and customs, natural animals and other themes, including the world's first cloned sheep Dolly and various animal specimens. The entire museum can be said to be a large-scale encyclopedia! You must come to Edinburgh when you come to the UK!

Even though it is not my first time coming here, it is still at the top of my list, and I highly recommend that you visit. If you are a museum enthusiast, this place is a must-visit. The exhibitions here include both permanent and temporary zones. Personally, I enjoyed exploring the World Culture zone since I love everything about people and culture. Have you ever seen such a beautiful interior!! Have you been to the Scottish museum ？ So much to see, even just Just standing here was worth the visit!! This fascinating object in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh is the Ballachulish Goddess. She was discovered under a layer of peat in 1880 by workers digging foundations for a new house near Ballachulish. Alder wood, with quartzite pebbles for eyes, she's around 5ft tall and over 2,500 years old. This incredible preservation was due to the wet conditions of the peaty ground she was buried in. Unfortunately, nobody could find a container of water big enough to hold her for the trip to Edinburgh and so the wood became badly warped into what we see today. Since she was found near a narrow passage where Loch Linnhe flows into Loch Leven, she's sometimes called the Goddess of the Straights. It's thought that she may have been a deity placed there for sailors to pray to or leave an offering before they navigated the dangerous stretch of water. Whatever the true story is behind the Ballachulish Goddess, it doesn't get much more mysterious or beautiful than this. There's a lot of cool stuff in the National Museum of Scotland, but if you only had time to see one thing then I think this should probably be it! #uk ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #scotland
