Getting There - You can either take the train from Shanghai to Wuyi or a car/bus. 🚄 Attractions - Wuyi had amazing hiking trails and many waterfalls. 🥾 It was a wet and cold morning but nothing was going to stop me from a little hiking. The hike has many stairs and it’s fairly safe. The views are amazing and really breathe taking. ⛰ When you finally reach the top you can see the view from a glass bridge, if you’re looking to leave escape the big City this is the perfect place to get a little reboot. 🌉 I would suggest going with a tour group to do the hike or with a group that you see at the location. Next, let me take you to explore the charm of Wuyi. 🗓Itinerary: Day one at noon: 📍Niutoushan Forest Park, ticket 110, cheaper if booked in advance. This place is known as the 'Little Jiuzhaigou of the South of the Yangtze River', with a very high forest coverage rate and the air is filled with the fresh scent of trees. I walked deep into the forest along the path, enjoying the dense trees and the fragrance of birds and flowers. A real-life version of the Emerald City! There are really few people! Had local specialty food in the hotel after descending the hill. Day 2: Gathered for breakfast at 7:30, started climbing the mountain after eating. During the May Day holiday, there were quite a few people at the entrance, but once inside, everyone moved at different speeds, so it didn't feel crowded. The entire scenic area is very well maintained, the water is very clean, naturally formed blue-green water bodies can be seen everywhere, very beautiful. There are many small water channels with stones, very suitable for catching small crabs, shrimps, fish, and snails, throwing stones, in short, there are many fun things for children.
