After a long 2.5-hour journey to the Schilthorn summit from Interlaken train station, we were greeted by spectacular alpine scenery straight out of postcards. At the summit, Piz Gloria stands 2,970 metres above sea level surrounded by more than 200 alpine peaks. Walk out of the building to Skyline View platform, which is an outdoor observation deck that provides a 360-degree view of the Swiss Alps. It's an excellent vantage point for taking in the stunning landscapes of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. #winhkflight #schilthorn #jamesbond #switzerland Schilthorn is a summit in Europe and it is accessible by cable car. You need to pay for the ticket to travel to Schilthorn. The ticket was promoted for its highlights such as round trip ticket, spy world and cinema, walk of fame and thrill walk at station Birg. I bought my ticket at the counter in Murren and I’m expecting to enjoy all the activities as promoted. There is no notification at the counter nor inform by the staff that there are closure of some of the activities. After I reached the submit of the Schilthorn, I only get to know that the walk of fame was closed. Thereafter, I only know that the thrill walk at station Birg was closed too. Paid for the full ticket price and didn’t get to experience all the activities, is disappointed. If I know the main attractions were closed, I would not pay for the ticket. They should put up a notice if the activity is close. I want to travel to Hong Kong for their culture and food.

Mürren is also Swiss alpine town that is surrounded by stunning mountain peaks such as Eugene, Jungfrau and Monch. It is part of the Jungfrau region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mürren offers a varieties of recreational activities over the years such as hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and more. One of the highlights is the Schilthorn, that featured in James Bond film which you also can explore if you are there. I want to travel to Hong Kong to explore more about Hong Kong.

A great experience at Mt. Schilthorn

Are you a fan of 007 James Bond? Then Mt. Schilthorn is a must!! The building on Mt Schilthorn is called Piz Gloria and it is the primary filming location for the movie of James Bond! There is also a mini museum/exhibition about 007 James Bond within the Mt Schilthorn. We visited Mt Schilthron during the winter and we got to enjoy the panoramic winter view. At Mt. Schilthron, you would be able to enjoy amazing views of the alps, namely Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. Overall, we had a great time at Mt Schilthorn. 💯

The grasslands are surrounded by towering cliffs, with waterfalls cascading down from above, creating a magical atmosphere. The most famous is *Staubbach Falls*, which is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day when the mist catches the light. The best part? It’s free to wander around and soak in the natural beauty. I spent hours walking through the meadows, taking in the wildflowers and the sound of the waterfalls. The view of the valley with the charming village of Lauterbrunnen in the distance is simply unforgettable. For a closer look, I hiked up to *Trümmelbach Falls*, a series of impressive waterfalls hidden inside the mountain. It’s a small fee to enter, around 12 CHF, but totally worth it to see the power of the water up close. Nearby, the *Schilthorn* is a must-visit for James Bond fans – it’s where they filmed “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” The cable car ride up is a bit pricey, but the 360-degree view from the top is out of this world! The entire area is also a gateway to some fantastic hiking trails, like the route to *Mürren*, a car-free village that feels like something out of a fairy tale. Scenic journey to Schilthorn, Switzerland

🚂 Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen (20 mins) Started my day early in Interlaken. Boarded the train to Lauterbrunnen, a scenic journey with a split at Zweilütschinen. Lauterbrunnen, nestled in a valley with numerous waterfalls, was stunning despite being touristy. 🚡 Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp Station (10 mins) Took a quick cable car ride to Grütschalp Station. The train to Mürren awaited at Grütschalp. 🚞 Grütschalp to Mürren (15 mins) This train ride could be either on a traditional or modern train. Mürren, a beautiful alpine village, greeted me with charming hotels and ski shops. 🌄 Mürren to Schilthorn with a stop at Birg Hopped on a cable car towards Schilthorn, stopping at Birg for a breathtaking mountainside walk. The final leg to Schilthorn (20 mins) led to a summit with a revolving restaurant, a small James Bond museum, and stunning views of the Jungfraujoch. **Visited in summer, so no snow, but the views were still spectacular. At the Mirren cable car station, there is real-time footage of the Schilthorn for tourists to reference. 4. Must wear warm jackets or down jackets, apply high SPF sunscreen, and wear sunglasses. 5. The altitude difference reaches 1039 meters, which requires a relatively large amount of physical strength. Birg also has a BISTRO BIRG restaurant and observation deck for visitors to rest. Starting in 2016, a new project has been added under the viewing platform called thrill walk, glass paving 3, Allmendhubel Allmendhubel at an altitude of 1907 meters.
