If you walk a short distance south from the hotel, you can reach the Pearl River and enjoy the charming view of the Canton Tower. Whether you are on a business trip or traveling, if you have a sufficient budget, I highly recommend staying at this hotel, as it is very convenient to get around. The hotel service is also excellent. You can feel the friendly attitude when you check in at the front desk. Platinum members can be upgraded to a 110-square-meter suite. The stay is very comfortable, and the toiletries are exquisite. The next day's breakfast is served in the lounge, and the chef will personally deliver the food to the table after it is prepared. As we arrived early, our original room was not yet ready, so they immediately helped us change to a room of the same type. Bathroom: The decor style is a bit dated. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view (see photo), but there are office buildings nearby, so be careful of your privacy. The guest and master bathrooms do not have smart toilets. The bathrobes are soft, and the disposable slippers are good quality. The shower has both a shower head and a rain shower, and the water pressure is stable. The toiletries are the classic Sheraton oak scent in large bottles. The bathtub was clean, and there was no dust or dirt when filled with water. The bath mat was laid out in advance, which was very thoughtful. The sink is a single basin, and the toothbrush is good quality and the right hardness. Mouthwash is provided. Breakfast: You need to swipe your room card to enter. The staff proactively asked if we needed coffee or drinks. I didn't try the juice, so I can't comment on it. During the hot food period, there were 10 desserts, 8 fruits, 6 pastries, 10 hot dishes, 2 main courses, 2 soups, and a cold food and drinks area. The selection was amazing! The food was delicious! Is this really just a Sheraton? Public areas: The gym (room card required) has all the basic equipment, which is well maintained, clean, and odor-free. There is a dedicated staff member to look after it. There is also an outdoor pool and tennis court (see photo). This is the best Sheraton I've ever stayed at! It has no rivals in the same price range, and is even better than many higher-end hotels. This proves that there are hotels that can provide good service and management. |📍Guangzhou Yuehai Sheraton Hotel After getting off work on Friday, I drove to Sound Republic to watch DOUDOU's live performance. It was the first time I saw their offline performance since knowing them from 'The Big Band'. I can only describe it as warm and wild, haha. It happened to be Christmas Eve on the weekend, and the drop in temperature added to the festive atmosphere, but as a pure southerner, I really couldn't handle it. The hotel's location is excellent, downstairs is Tianhe City, and you can see Tianhe Stadium from the room. You can quickly reach nearby major shopping areas and subway stations on foot. Of course, being close to the city center means traffic is very congested. Overall, it is very suitable for tourists. The hotel has been around for a while, but it was renovated in 2022, so I didn't choose the Marriott across the street. The lobby feels a bit crowded, and besides the guests, there are probably many people coming for the buffet. The perks are a choice of three, and I chose breakfast. The taste and variety are good, making it one of the best hotels offering congee, haha. The small cakes in the executive lounge are also quite rich. Overall, it feels like an old hotel with very stable and thoughtful service.

The room size is not particularly large, but the hollow design in the middle hall upon entering is very impressive, with a villa-style ceiling height. The Sheraton, which has been around for over 10 years, has maintained the Presidential Suite quite well. It still feels very new if you don't look closely, although the design is a bit old-fashioned, it is still adequate for now. The first floor includes a main living room with a wide view directly facing the old Tianhe landmark CITIC and the sports center. The view is completely comparable to the view of the Canton Tower in Zhujiang New Town. The first floor is equipped with a dining room also facing CITIC, and a relatively private small living room (as shown in picture 8) on the right side of the entrance, behind the stairs leading to the second floor. The entire second floor space belongs to the master bedroom, with an enormous master bathroom that is as large as an ordinary king-size bedroom.
