Suma Rikyu Park (Rose Garden, Iris Garden, Hydrangea Garden)
From Sanyo Electric Railway Tsukimiyama Station, it's a 10-minute walk. You go through a path lined with roses. The path is in a residential area. There are illustrations of roses on the road, so you can follow them. Even if there's a fork in the road, it's easy to find your way because of the illustrations.
Once you get through the path of roses, you will see Suma Rikyu Park right in front of you.
Cross the pedestrian bridge to the main entrance.
The roses were past their prime, but they were still blooming beautifully. After enjoying the roses at the fountain plaza, I headed to the iris garden.
The irises were in full bloom and very beautiful.
After crossing the connecting bridge, there are a Japanese garden and a greenhouse.
After enjoying the botanical garden area, exit through the east gate and it's a 10-minute walk to Sanyo Higashi-Suma Station.
It's a recommended park where you can enjoy various flowers depending on the season ☺️

Suma Rikyu Park
#thingstodo
A lovely park with beautiful scenery and children's forest to admire. Probably best experienced if you come with family and kids. Suma Rikyu Park was once the emperor's villa, and the garden landscaping is very exquisite and beautiful. In the vast garden, there is also a greenhouse botanical garden. In addition, thousands of roses are planted in the European-style fountain garden. When the roses are in full bloom, the whole park is full of flowers, making people linger.
Pros: Very wide area to walk around and loads of play space for the kids.
Entrance fee: 400 JPY only for adults and additional 500 JYP for parking if you come by car.
