New Zealand | Tasman glacier view is breathtakingly beautiful
I played all the way, and the Tasman Glacier Lake is still beyond expectations.
The track is easy! The scenery is stunning!
The last time I was so beautiful was the Sap Mountain in Tibet.
But the infrastructure and the degree of easy access are not at the same level.
NZ is a place that makes me exclaim how beautiful it is every day.

Tasman Glacier
The Tasman Glacier, located in the Tasman Lake in Mount Cook National Park on the South Island of New Zealand, is the longest glacier in New Zealand, with a length of 27 kilometers, a width of 4 kilometers, an area of 101 square kilometers, and a thickness of up to 600 meters. It is above sea level 3000 meters and is one of the longest glaciers in the world. Tasman Glacier Hiking: Take a plane to the glacier and walk to enjoy the scenery. Take a helicopter to land on the glacier, led by a guide, wearing professional equipment, walking on the Tasman Glacier. Along the way, you can enjoy various glacier sceneries, go deep into the ice, drill ice caves, taste ice water, etc. The ice time is about 2 hours, and the whole journey is about 3-4 hours; ordinary physical tourists can. Lake Pukaki was once part of New Zealand's largest Tasman Glacier. On a clear day, you can enjoy the majestic mountain view of New Zealand's highest peak, Mt. Cook, and the snow scene of distant mountains by the lake. The large amount of glacial minerals in the lake water dyes the color of the lake water into a dreamy color like milk, and you can also enjoy this quiet moment by the lake. Go upstream to Mount Cook along Lake Pukaki, and enjoy the shock and beauty of Mount Cook up close. Have a western lunch on the mountain at noon. It is the beautiful blue milk lake on the South Island of New Zealand.

New Zealand Helicopter Glacier Experience
🌟Highlights:
New Zealand is the last pure land in the world. It has all terrains except deserts. New Zealand's glaciers are the only two temperate glaciers in the world (the other temperate glacier country is Chile). New Zealand's glaciers were formed 4000 years ago, due to continuous snowfall at that time, the snow pressure formed glaciers. Many terrains in the South Island of New Zealand are related to the movement of glaciers. Tasman Glacier is located on a mountain about 5000 meters above sea level. It is currently the largest glacier in New Zealand, with a length of about 90 kilometers. Taking a helicopter to watch the whole panorama of Tasman Glacier is a very shocking experience. The whole process is about 45 minutes, including about 10 minutes of glacier landing. After takeoff, you can not only enjoy the largest glacier in New Zealand, but also enjoy the highest peak of New Zealand, Mount Cook. Highly recommended!
📝Note tips:
When taking a helicopter to watch the glacier, you cannot bring selfie sticks, carry-on bags, etc. It is recommended to deposit before takeoff. After boarding, you must fasten your seat belt throughout the journey. When landing on the glacier, stand in the front of the plane to avoid being injured by the propeller at the back of the helicopter.

Tasman Glacier trail is a short drive from the Mount Cook Village with ample parking available. The hike to view the glacier is straight up, mostly on gravel stairs with no handrails. Would not recommend for those with mobility issues. The spectacular view at the top of the trail with the glacier in the distance and floating icebergs in the lake make the hike well worth it. #wintergetaway
