Located in the hill surrounded by lush and serene landscapes, Veranda High Resort by MGallery offers a serene and peaceful setting for relaxing. It is takes approximately 30 minutes from the old town and we booked a private car prior to arrival. As the resort is quite big, there is a free buggy to get around. However, we really loved the setting and walking around is a better choice. Our room fronted the paddy fields within the resort and the room itself was spacious and clean. From check in to check out, our stay was magical. Thanks to all the staff for being very friendly. Loved the turn down service and the cookies. We loved the breakfast at The Higher Room Spread was not a lot but it was what they had was delicious. The view was also spectacular. I love Changmai, we rented a motorbike to visit the beautiful place of Changmai, Veranda Resort is 4 hrs ride from the city, we made stop overs and it was definitely one of my favorite trip! rhe resort is huge, from the room to the reception it will take you 10mins walk, they have a nice rooftop pool area which is overlooking the mountains and temple, they have a rooftop restaurant which you can have a nice romantic dinner.#chiangmai #veranda #rooftoppool #tripaway

A wonderful resort in a lush, gorgeous environment. The resort is quite huge, and the architecture is unusual and interesting, making for some enjoyable treks about the grounds. The people who work here are really knowledgeable. Really friendly, courteous, and fluent in numerous languages. The food and beverage variety is excellent, with the breakfast buffet standing out. The service was always consistent, and it didn't feel any different when the workers changed shifts. The spa is beautiful. Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai - MGallery Collection is a boutique hotel that blends in with nature and is located in a valley on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. The air here is fresh and you can smell the birds and flowers every day. The resort is designed in the style of the Thai Lanna era, and it is also integrated into the modern veranda style. The whole hotel is full of design, especially the infinity pool in the middle of the mountain, which has the feeling of connecting with the sky. The density of the building at resort is very low. Most of the houses are located above the tea garden. The floor-to-ceiling glass window can be used to smell the fresh fragrance of the vegetation, and the insects can be seen at night. Some rooms in the resort also have a private swimming pool. The privacy is very good. What surprises Chinese tourists is that the TV in the room can receive some Chinese TV programs. If the weather is good, enjoy dinner at the tea garden restaurant in the evening, it feels wonderful!

#thingstodo An excellent resort. The breakfast spread is so nice. The staff are so accommodating. They made us special vegetarian dishes which were not part of the spread. We asked them for banana fritters and they complied. I don't think any other hotel will be so nice. Kudos to the staff who are always willing to help and comply with our wishes. Well done Verenda High Resort. This resort is quite unique and unusual. A short ride up the mountain road brings you to a completely different world, away from Chaing Mai's hustle and bustle. An amazing oasis, fresh air, peace and quiet, amazing views... The Staff is absolutely superb, from the front gate guys to the friendly check-in crew to the great restaurant staff. Ms Jib Panthiwa is likely the best hostess we've encountered in a long time, knowledgeable, hospitable, caring and friendly - thank you agin! The resort's crown jewel is the pool - once you see it, you will agree this is the pool unlike any other hotel pool you may have seen. Rooms are excellent, great wifi and AC - feel free to book the second floor, Deluxe Scenery - amazing view. Feel like splurging - get the downstairs accomodations with a private pool. Two restaurants offer great food, with acceptable pricing, considering this a mountain resort. They do offer shuttles to Chiang Mai and back, honestly - what's the point? The idea is to get away from the city and enjoy this exceptional hidden oasis!

#timetotravel We went to Chiang Mai for a birthday celebration When we first arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful and serene entrance. The ambience was quaint and comfortable, giving us the feeling of actually being on an holiday away from the hustle and bustle. When we arrived in the room, we were greeted with a “Happy Birthday” decoration on the bed. We were extremely impress by the thoughtfulness and it really made our holiday even better. There was a 24/7 buggy service that would take you to the entrance of the resort and that was pretty amazing considering the weather was hot and the distance from the room to entrance was quite far. There are several pools around the resort and activities for you to join including Muay Thai, Yoga and Spa.
