Another famous tourist attraction in Bangkok, Thailand is Wat Arun.
I have to say that this place is really spectacular. Although the entrance fee is 200 baht, it took a lot of time to build here. It is really worth it. Although there are many tourists, it is still very meaningful to see the historical monuments and it is also very suitable for taking pictures. It is nearby There are also many stores where you can compare prices and wear traditional Thai clothes. It’s really great to walk in Wat Arun.
The Ayutthaya Dynasty was founded in Thailand. After Zheng Zhao moved his capital here to establish the Thonburi Dynasty, Thonburi District also became increasingly prosperous. The temple was completed in 1809 and rebuilt in 1847.
It is the greatest innovation left behind by King Mengkut during the Ayutthaya period, and it is also the most splendid cultural heritage. This makes Wat Arun the oldest building and the most visited temple on the Chao Phraya River today.
After entering with the ticket (you will get a stamp on your hand), you can get a small bottle of water with the Wat Arun label on it.
The dreamy Temple Arun tile popsicles. After entering, there is a small freezer on the left hand side selling popsicles with Temple Arun tile designs. Each popsicle costs 89 yuan. After you pay, they will help you put away the outer packaging bags and boxes. Take it off.
The most impressive thing is that the public toilets in Temple Arun are air-conditioned and free of charge😆

Wat Arun, the Thai version of the Eiffel Tower in Bangkok.
Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Wat Arun is one of the oldest structures and is often referred to as the Thai version of the Eiffel Tower. It is also one of the must-visit classic attractions in Thailand.
Even if you are not interested in temples or historical sites, Wat Arun is still a worthwhile place to visit. Whether you admire it from a boat or up close within the park, you will be amazed by its magnificent tower and exquisite craftsmanship!
The park also features many souvenir shops where you can enjoy a delicate and delicious Thai milk ice cream.

Visit the prang of Wat Arun
#Temple tour Let's visit the Prang of Wat Arun Ratchawararam (Wat Chaeng) along the Chao Phraya River. ✨️
It is an important highlight that Thai and foreign tourists cannot miss. The Prang of Wat Arun is considered an important ancient site in Thailand. It is in very good condition even though it is over 200 years old because it is constantly being taken care of. The artistic patterns around the Prang are very beautiful and graceful. The colors are beautiful. There is 1 main Prang in the center and 4 secondary Prangs in each direction.
There is also a shop that rents Thai clothes for taking pictures. Wherever you look, you will see people wearing beautiful Thai clothes. 💕
After visiting Wat Arun, I recommend crossing the river to the opposite side of Wat Arun to watch the sunset. It is very impressive. When it gets dark, the temple will turn on the lights of the Prang. It is very beautiful and stands out on the Chao Phraya River. ✨️
How to get there 🚆: Take a boat to Wat Arun Pier, or MRT Itsaraphap Station and then take a taxi.
Opening and closing hours: 8:00 - 18:00

Exploring the Wat Arun, an iconic historical landmark in Bangkok.
#bangkoktrip#historical
My next stop in Bangkok after visited Wat Pho is Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, or better known as Wat Arun, an iconic historical landmarks in Bangkok. The sheer details and magnitude of this temple are the main attraction.
We took a Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tien Pier (N8) from Wat Pho. After that, taken a cross-river ferry for only THB 4 to Wat Arun.
The Wat Arun is quite a massive temple, it has the design features and structure of a Khmer-style pagoda. The central Prang is beautifully adorned with colorful porcelain and seashells, the intricate porcelain decorations are mesmerizing, I could've spent an hour admiring at the details.
⏩The Wat Arun is open everyday from 8am - 6pm. Admission fee: THB 200.
⏩Highly recommend taking a boat ride to Wat Arun for a unique perspective of the temple. In the evening, the view of the temple from the Chao Phraya riverbank is absolutely breathtaking!

☀️Bangkok is still very hot in October. It is recommended to spend time in the shopping mall in the afternoon. Without further ado, here is the one-day check-in route for the scenic spots on both sides of the Chao Phraya River. Don’t turn back. Go to Baozi as soon as possible✅🔍Route: Pratunam Buddha —iconsiam—Temple Arun—Sunset on the Chao Phraya River—Chulalongkorn Food Street
1️⃣When the sun is not too bright in the morning, it is recommended to go to the Pratunam Buddha to check in at each seat. ⚠️Don’t be fooled by the pictures online. You can’t see the sunset from the Big Buddha. Don’t be stupid and wait for sunset! 📌Take MRT and get off at bang thai station, BTS and get off at wutthakat station, then walk to navigate 796soi thoet thai to Figure 8 Alley. All aircraft seats can be reached on foot. It is not recommended to take a boat. The river is really smelly and dirty...
2️⃣After taking pictures of the Big Buddha, it was already very hot at noon. Grab a taxi and go to the iconsiam shopping mall. You can spend a long time shopping at the floating market on the first floor with various snacks, delicacies and handicrafts!
3⃣️ After eating and drinking, we headed to Wat Arun around 4 o'clock. At this time, we were not so sunny. We went to the ticket office at Gate 2 to buy a boat ticket to Wat Arun for only 30 baht. It was only about three or four stops away. Wat Arun🎫Tickets are 100 baht. There are many ladies here wearing Thai clothes to take photos🧍🏻♀️Key points💢💢💢
4⃣️You need to make a reservation one or two months in advance to watch the sunset at the riverside restaurants. If you can’t make an appointment, don’t be discouraged. It costs 5 baht to take a boat to the other side from Wat Arun Pier. 🧭 Navigate to riva arun on foot and you will see the free photo terrace. ! Picture 123 was taken there. The dark blue sky and Temple Arun with the lights on are so beautiful🌇
5⃣️The last stop today is Chulalongkorn Food Street, just garb there, or you can choose the Chinatown Night Market nearby~

Located in the west bank of the Chao Phraya river. It’s easily to find, because this temple is one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok.
Not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. Wat Arun is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.
Inside the ordination hall of Wat Arun, where the walls are decorated with many intricate murals, you can view the golden Niramitr Buddha image. Wat Arun is an architectural representation of Mount Meru, the center of the world in Buddhist cosmology.
To reach this beautiful temple, From Saphan Taksin boat pier you can take a riverboat that stops at Pier 8. From here, a small shuttle boat takes you from one side of the river to the other.

🇹🇭 Bangkok Travel: Experience the Thai Princess at Wat Arun for 6,000 won
If you go to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, you can experience traditional costumes for around 200 baht and get some pretty life shots! It's so hot that I recommend you try it early in the morning or after 3pm! We visited after 3pm~
Colors are bright and vivid primary colors that take better pictures than pastel colors! The places I took pictures are the best photo spots, so refer to the locations and poses and take life shots!!
📍Wat Arun
⏰08:00-18:00
🏷️200 baht per person (including one small water bottle)
⚠️ No entry in revealing clothes except traditional costumes
📍arunchai thai costume
⏰08:00-18:00
🏷️ 150 baht per person (200 baht including hair and accessories is the official price, but they gave a discount when 3 people went)
⚠️ Precautions for experiencing traditional costumes
- Since the clothes reveal your shoulders, prepare off-shoulder underwear or nubra
- The stores located near the Wat Arun pier are expensive and you have to change outdoors and it is expensive

Have you ever seen such a breathtaking ancient Thai temple? The exquisite aesthetics of the ancients are evident in every detail of the tower. ❤️
Opening Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm
Entrance Fee: 200 THB (cash only)
Before entering, a stamp will be placed on your hand, allowing you to re-enter Wat Arun throughout the day. Wat Arun is not very large; you can complete your visit and take photos in about two hours. Transportation Options:
1. Taxi or bus directly from the city
2. Take a boat from the pier at the Grand Palace
3. Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin Station, Exit 2, and transfer to a boat to N8 Pier
Clothing Rental/Photography:
There is a street outside Wat Arun full of shops renting traditional Thai clothing for photos. It costs 200 THB per hour (remember to compare prices). The overall look is very photogenic (only the clothing is provided; makeup quality may vary). Remember to arrive early! It gets crowded and hot in the afternoon. 🥲
Tips: ❤️
① Remember that temples are sacred places, so dress modestly. Pants or skirts should cover the knees!
② The Grand Palace is right across the river. It's recommended to visit the Grand Palace and Wat Pho first (the Grand Palace is quite large, so allocate enough time). Afterward, take a boat from N9 Pier at the Grand Palace to Wat Arun. Buy a 16 THB ticket at the counter for a ten-minute direct ride to Wat Arun, saving time and effort!!

"Bangkok-Wat Arun" is a Thai server experience that even the elders can't put down.
🌞Temple Arun, Thailand🌞
The journey on 6/27 was full of laughter and surprises! We had a delicious breakfast at the hotel at 7 a.m. and set out at 8 a.m. ready for our adventure in Thailand. At 8:30, we arrived at a store that specializes in Thai clothing experience. A group of six people were ready to start changing clothes and makeup to transform into ancient Thai nobles!
There are many restaurants near Temple Arun. The one I found is in front of the alley at the entrance of Temple Arun. The name is Natcha traditional costum rent. Because there are many of us, I made a reservation in advance a few days ago. , make a reservation through their FB
The Thai service experience is 150 baht per person, and you can do your hair. If you want to wear makeup, add 50 baht, which is very cheap!
But I just helped with light makeup, but since none of us are good at makeup, we all put makeup on. Bags and umbrellas cost an additional 50 baht, but in order to take pictures better, we also rented 2 umbrellas. 5 bags. Some people have a lot of stuff and can’t fit in small bags... I won’t rent it.
Let’s talk about clothing first: There are many types of clothing, and the advantage of Thai clothing is that there are no sizes, so you can wear it regardless of your body type! But cheap rental clothes like this are usually made of poor quality materials. I choose clothes with a white base, so I wear silver lace. Fortunately, the silver powder will not fall off, but my mother and aunts have gold and red. , pink lace is all glued and sprinkled with gold powder, so when you wear it, you will find some gold powder stuck to your armpits.
Hair style: People with long hair can have richer styles, while those with short hair can have simpler styles.
Makeup: Simple light makeup, a good complexion, eyebrows drawn very carefully, which takes about 15 minutes per person on average, and eye makeup only with eyeshadow and no eyeliner or eyelashes. **Please note for those with mysophobia, because sponges and brushes are shared, so those who know how to put on makeup will be better off applying their own makeup before going! But it’s really cost-effective to help with makeup for 50 baht!
A good friend of the handicapped person, and I asked other companies before that many of them charge makeup fees ranging from 300 to 1,000, and they have to take photos. After applying makeup, they look better.
It took us nearly two hours just to change clothes and put on makeup, and it wasn’t until 10:30 that we finally dressed up and headed to Wat Arun. During this period, our photographer arrived as early as 9:30, but because we were never ready, he had to wait for us while having breakfast outside. It was really hard for him.
The Thai clothing store hired a professional photographer for us for 2,500 baht per hour, but there were so many people that the photo poses were very limited. Some photographers didn’t know whether it was because there were so many elderly people in our group or something, but they all called us They are in similar poses, hahaha🤣
Finally, we started taking pictures at Wat Arun at 10:30. This ancient temple is stunningly beautiful and totally worth seeing. Our photographer was patient and professional and captured the beauty of each of us. We kept filming until 11:30, and then quickly changed out of our Thai clothes, because although the Thai clothes were beautiful, they were really not convenient to wear, especially in such hot weather. When we made the reservation, we wanted to think about whether we should take photos for 2 hours since there were so many people. Fortunately, we didn’t make this decision, otherwise the elders would have been crazy and wouldn’t have the patience to take photos.
But it can only be said that women’s love for beauty is innate. No matter how old they are, everyone immediately changed their profile photos after seeing beautiful photos, and spent a lot of time that day posting their latest beautiful photos on social media! Seeing moms and aunts like this makes me feel super cute
Our original plan that afternoon was to take a boat to visit the nearby ICONSIAM, but my mother and aunts were a little tired from the busy morning, so we changed our plan and went back to the hotel to rest. However, some aunties who were not tired went to Pratunam Market to buy clothes and enjoyed a pleasant shopping time.
